de l'Affiche et du Graphisme et vers l’avenir avec le projet de Parc
national « Entre Champagne et Bourgogne », abrite un hôtel
entièrement rénové au design contemporain. Idéalement situé
sur la route de Langres à proximité des rives de la Marne et de la
Suize, l’Etoile d’Or, qui accueille des séminaires, est aussi une étape
des plus confortables pour passer un week-end entre détente et
histoire. Juste en face de l’hôtel : piscine d’été avec toboggan et
pataugeoire. Possibilité de randonnée, à pied, à cheval ou à VTT
(sur réservation). Visite guidée de Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises
à une demi-heure.

contemporary spirit!
Chaumont, the one-time residence of the Counts of Champagne, now a town
focused on the present with the International Poster and Graphic Design
Festival, and on the future with the planned “Between Champagne and
Burgundy” national park, houses a fully refurbished hotel with contemporary
design. Ideally located on the road to Langres near the banks of the Marne and
Suize, the Etoile d’Or not only hosts conferences but is also an outstandingly
comfortable stopover place for a weekend of relaxation and history. Just
opposite the hotel: swimming pool in summer with slide and wading pool.
Possibility of hiking, horseback riding or mountain-biking (with reservation).
Guided tour of Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises a half hour away.

salle avant de découvrir la vieille ville de Chaumont (ancienne
capitale de la ganterie), le marché du terroir (mercredi et
samedi), la basilique St-Jean-Baptiste, le donjon des Comtes de
Champagne, la ceinture de remparts sans oublier le viaduc (600
m de long et de 50 arches de trois étages) symbole de la ville.
Les forêts toutes proches invitent à la flânerie.

spacious dining room before you set out on your discovery tour of the old town
of Chaumont (former glove capital), the local market (Wednesday and Saturday), St. John the Baptist Basilica, the dungeon of the Counts of Champagne,
the ramparts and, of course, the symbol of the city: the viaduct (600 m long
with 50 three-story arches). The nearby forests are your invitation for leisurely
strolls.

Ambiance raffinée ou plus décontractée pour une cuisine
toujours savoureuse...
Côté brasserie avec un menu du jour le midi en semaine ou côté
restaurant au coin de la cheminée quand le temps s’y prête,
les délicieuses recettes du terroir sont à l’honneur. Spécialités
lorraines, champenoises ou encore bourguignonnes, brochettes
de viande ou de poisson, composent les assiettes belles à
croquer. La cuisine du chef, faite d’authenticité, de simplicité et
générosité, se savourent de 12 h à 14 h et de 19 h à 21 h 30.

The brasserie featuring a special daily menu for lunch on weekdays or the
restaurant at the fireside when the weather permits, where homage is paid
to delicious local dishes. Lorraine, Champagne or Burgundy specialties,

The Chef’s cuisine, crafted with authenticity, simplicity and generosity, are yours
to enjoy from 12 to 2 pm and from 7 to 9.30 pm.
