A HIGH VALUE-ADDED PROJECT CREATED BY THE UFCV*
SNEAK PREVIEW AT THE 2008 CNCF CONFERENCE

Paris, October 14 2008 – Cegedim Logiciels Médicaux (CLM), software publisher and
service provider to the medical profession, announces that it has been selected to partner
with the UFCV* to create the “DMP Cardio”. This project for the care of patients with an
Implantable Medical Device (DMI) and for secondary prevention comprises a common
platform that is compatible with the Professional Medical File (DMPro) and the future
Personal Medical File (DMP).
Developing a special “DMP-Cardio-compatible” version of Cardiolite
Cegedim Logiciels Médicaux has fine-tuned its Cardiolite 6 software to meet the technical
requirements of this trail-blazing project. Six patient care forms, specially designed
according to cardiologists’ specifications, have been incorporated into the existing
software. The DMP-Cardio-compatible version of Cardiolite 6 will be presented for the first
time at the 20th annual conference of the Collège National des Cardiologues Français
(CNCF) association of French cardiologists, to be held at the Palais des Congrès in Nice
from 16 to 18 October, at stand number 31.

Simplicity: the software’s basic architecture makes it possible for cardiologists to add
on functions with a simple click. CLM’s developments continue to take into account
the requirement for simplicity and time-saving in its day-to-day practice.
Universality: this version is targeted at all cardiologists; as a simple update for
current users, as a step up for computer-equipped physicians who want to
incorporate this project into their specialty, and as an initial installation for physicians
who are not yet equipped.
Training: a nation-wide training schedule is already in place, and online distance
training is provided by experts.
Local assistance: CLM’s network of regional offices allows it to provide cardiologists
with personalized service.

Tailored financing, tailored set-up: CLM takes into account the cardiologist’s
existing system before proposing a personalized technical set-up, and the company
searches out the most appropriate financing conditions for the client.
