I. Education and professional activity
Bac, General Sciences type, obtained from Collège Notre Dame de la Paix, Dora, Lebanon in
2008;
Received the Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 2011 from the Faculty of Sciences of the
Lebanese university in Beirut, Lebanon;
Received a teaching certificate in french language in 2013 from the Institut Culturel Français
du Liban, Lebanon with honors;
Mathematics teacher for complementary classes at the Collège Notre Dame de la Paix, Dora,
Lebanon, from September 2011 till September 2013.
Received the Master’s degree with honors in 2013 in Applied Mathematics: Numerical
analysis and partial differential equations from the Faculty of Sciences of Université Saint
Joseph de Beyrouth. The Master thesis was in the field of Mathematics applied to ecology, in
terms of a collaboration between the Université Saint Joseph de Beyrouth with Dr. Gihane
Mansour Abou Jaoudeh and the Ecole d’Ingénieurs et d’Architectes de Fribourg with Prof.
Dr. Richard Baltensperger and Dr. Nayla Sokhn;
Research trainee, from november 2013 till april 2014, in Statistics applied to entrepreneurship
at the Haute Ecole de Gestion de Fribourg under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mathias Rossi.
The research interests were understanding more about the health of entrepreneurs in
Switzerland, using different national databases;
Researcher, from june 2014 till september 2014, in the engineering center of Murex Systems,
Beirut’s offices, the main interest was the conceptualization and the implementation of a
staffing management model based on predictive statistical methods and using CRM
department’s databases;
Received a certificate in Project management for researchers from Atelier REGARD –
Universités Suisses Romandes, Switzerland in March 2015;
Since September 2014, PhD Student in Statistics at the Applied Statistics and Modelling
group, Departement of Informatics, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, University of
Fribourg, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Laurent Donzé. The thesis is treating fuzzy
statistics;
