Communiqué
L’Ambassade d’Algérie à kuala Lumpur / Malaisie, a le plaisir de porter à la connaissance des
ressortissants algériens résidants en Malaisie, en Thaïlande et aux Philippines qu’en vue de
faciliter davantage l’établissement du passeport biométrique, le Ministère algérien de l’Intérieur et
des Collectivités Locales a mis en service un portail sur son site Internet, permettant à tout
ressortissant algérien dont la demande de passeport biométrique a été rejetée en raison de « photo
non conforme », de télécharger, au moyen d’un support amovible (clé USB, CD), une photo
conforme aux normes de l’Organisation Internationale de l’Aviation Civile et de la transmettre
directement par Internet à la Direction des Titres et des Documents Sécurisés dudit Ministère via
le lien suivant : http://passeport.interieur.gov.dz.

The Algerian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur / Malaysia, has the pleasure to inform Algerian
citizens residents in Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines that, in order to further facilitate the
biometric passport issue, the Algerian Ministry of Interior and Local Authorities has brought into
service a portal on its website, enabling any Algerian citizen resident abroad, whose biometric
passport application has been rejected for a « non-compliant photo », to upload, through a
removable device (USB key or CD), a photo that complies with the International Civil Aviation
Organization’s standards and to forward it straightaway Online to the Direction of Securities and
Secured Documents of the said Ministry via the following link :
