engineered a fully
biodegradable, composite,
non-PLA (PLA = polylactic
acid) material that can be

manufacture as well 3dprinting. First test series in
3d-printing have been
successful. The Swiss
company is looking for a
partner company with
expertise in 3d-printing
interested in further
developing and refining the
3d technology for the
biodegradable biopolymer.

An innovative SME from
Moscow has developed a
device for 3D printing with
precision extrusion 50
microns, which allows
producing objects following
their 3D computer models
through extrusion, capable
of multi-colour printing, of
molten plastic rod. The
technology, due to its
simplicity, lower cost than its
analogues and affordable
materials, opens new
opportunities of prototyping
for users. The company

developed a new 3D printing
technology, which enables
manufacturing of
transparent parts for lighting
optics. The company
developed special 3dimensional lenses
(Fresnel), patterns, textures
and structured foils.The
company is interested in
joint development and lowvolume production for
application in special lighting
equipment and advanced
LED lighting optics. The
Dutch partner is looking for
a commercial agreement
with technical assistance.
Additive manufacturing /
3D print technology for
technical ceramic parts

A Dutch research
organisation developed a 3D
printing technology capable
of producing technical
ceramic parts directly from
3D CAD data. The parts are
built ‘layer-by-layer’ using a
highly filled, photo curable
ceramic paste. Afterwards
the green parts are
debinded and sintered.
Currently several ceramic
materials can be processed,
such as aluminum oxide and
nitride, silicon carbide and
piezoelectric ceramics. The
Dutch partner is interested
in technical cooperation
projects.
Direct manufacturing of
metallic parts through
electron beam melting

Electron Beam Melting
(EBM) is an innovative
technique used to
manufacture ready-to-use
metallic parts. In the EBM
process fully dense metal
parts are built up layer-bylayer of metal powder
melted by a powerful
electron beam. Each layer is
melted to the exact
geometry defined by a 3D
model. A Belgian collective
research center is looking
for partners for research,
technical and/or commercial
cooperation, adaptation to
specific needs, testing of
new applications,
applications in new
domains.
