seeks to license its layered
composite insulation (LCI) to
industrial partners in Europe for
commercial uses. This easy-touse system can benefit
industries that depend on
regulation of low temperatures
in equipment/products. It is
particularly suited for use in
sub-ambient temperature
environments where moisture is
a concern. LCI provides
physical resilience against
damaging mechanical effects
including compression, flexure,
impact, vibration, and
expansion/contraction.
Composite bridges based
on pultruded glass fibre
reinforced polyester profiles

A Dutch company is specialized
in pultrusion of glass fibre
reinforced polyester profiles.
Based on these half-fabricates
the company developed a
range of bridges for
pedestrians, cyclists and light
transport. Pultrusion requires
very little energy compared to
the production of steel or
concrete constructions. This
makes the proposed bridges
very sustainable. The Dutch
partner is interested in
commercial agreements with
technical assistance with
government agencies and
construction companies.

Scientists at a Czech University
have developed short-fibre
geopolymer-based composites
reinforced with nanoparticles.
The solution offered is based
on high temperature resistant
composites. Scientists are
looking for industrial partners,
who are manufacturing
composites and are interested
in acquiring a license for
production. The license
agreement is sought.
New low cost rapid
infusion tooling system for
producing composite parts

A UK company designing
innovative solutions for the low
cost manufacture of composite
parts has developed an
inexpensive infusion tooling
system which enables rapid
infusion of such parts. The
