Le groupe: Windchase fut créé au milieu des années 70 par Mario Millo (guitares/ voix) et Toivo Pilt
(claviers), membres jusque là du célèbre groupe australien Sebastian Hardie, un des groupes les plus talentueux
des années 70. Ses deux albums ont été précédemment réédités par Muséa, FGBG 4273/4274 AR., tout comme
un album live de 1994, FGBG 4272 AR.
L’album : Tout comme Sebastian Hardie , il imposa un rock symphonique proche dans l'esprit de Yes
ou parfois de Camel: ampleur musicale, mélodies soignées, guitares et claviers rivalisant de lyrisme, séquences
chantées et instrumentales en alternance, paroles résolument "positives"... Cet album est considéré aujourd'hui
comme un classique du genre. Ce pop-progressif mélodieux et raffiné ne peut qu’enchanter les amateurs ! A
noter un titre bonus, enregistré « live » en 1998.

The band: Winchase was created in the mid-seventies by Mario Millo (guitars, vocals), and Toivo Pilt
(keyboards), former members of the famous australian band Sebastian hardie, one of the most talented australian
bands of the seventies, and one of the rare progressive ones (both albums, "Four moments" (1975) and
"Windchase" (1976), were re-released by Muséa, FGBG 4273/4274 AR.; a live album was also released, FGBG
4272 AR.).
The album: just like Sebastian Hardie’s albums it offered a symphonic rock near YES' and CAMEL’s
spirit :musical emphasis, melodies, lyrical guitars and keyboards, mix of sung and instrumental sequences,
positive lyrics... This album is still held in high esteem among progressive audience throughout the world.
Winchase ‘s music was pop-progressive, extremely melodious and refined. A live bonus track, engineered in
1998, is included here.
