WHAT HAVE YOU GOT…? A) SALLY’S PENCIL CASE: 1. Observe and describe: What has Sally got in her pencil case? 2. Answer the following questions with short answers: a. Has she got a stapler? b. Has she got a pair of compasses? c. Has she got an ink eraser? d. Has she got any coloured pencils? e. Has she got any paper clips? B) YOUR SCHOOL BAG: What have you got in your pencil case and in your school bag today? C) YOUR PARTNER’S PENCIL CASE: ask him/ her if she / he has got… Cross out the objects he /she hasn’t got. Then write a short sum up from his / her answers. THE PARTNER MUST USE SHORT ANSWERS!!! D) LET’S RECAP!!! HAVE GOT Tu as utilisé “have”got” dans les activités précédentes. Tu peux donc maintenant remplir ce tableau. (formes pleines + contractées) Forme affirmative : Forme interrogative : Forme négative : I You He / she / it I You He / she /it I You He / she /it We We We You You You They They They « Have got » exprime : 1. la possession : I have got a new bike. 2. les liens familiaux: she has got a brother. 3. les caractéristiques personnelles: They have got green eyes. 4. la maladie: I’ve got a cold. 5. l’obligation : She has got to learn her lesson. ATTENTION: on n’utilise pas “have got” mais “have” pour exprimer une action : I always have breakfast. SHORT ANSWERS : lorsqu’on te pose une question, tu ne dois pas juste répondre par « Yes » ou « No » mais par ce qu’on appelle une « réponse brève » ou « short answer ». a. Forme affirmative: on reprend le pronom sujet + have / has. : Have you got …? Yes, I have. b. Forme négative : on reprend le pronom sujet + haven’t / hasn’t : Has she got … ? No, she hasn’t.
