Every time our class walks quietly and respectfully, we add “un anneau” to the chain by the door. When the chain will reach the floor, we will celebrate! LES DEVOIRS Grade 2 students begin studying “Dictée” words this week! Grade 1 students will begin taking home French books this week. Please look for information letters in your child’s green homework duotang. Both groups are very respectful and looking forward to organizing their celebration! LIVRES DE SCHOLASTIC French Scholastic Book Orders for the month of January are due on Friday, January 20th. Thank you for sending in a cheque, payable to Scholastic Inc., or the exact amount! Français immersion AIM: Page 2 Au mois de décembre: PREMIÈRE ANNÉE During the next two months, students will learn the song “Le méchant loup”. They will also learn a dance routine to the song. This song is basically a “retell” of the play we are studying together: Les trois petits cochons. Later, the lyrics will come home in the green duo-tang for you to enjoy with your child You will have the privilege of watching your child perform this dance during our show at the end of the year! Un DÉFI de famille! 1. Choose a time when the whole family is together (breakfast, dinner). 2. Turn on a timer for 10, 15, 30 minutes, etc. 3. Speak French only until it rings! Students also use the English version in English class.
