Intended Use
Das Produkt ist zum Anschluss an einen USB-Port eines PCs vorgesehen und dient
dort als Webcam.

Treiber-Installation
Installing drivers
Installieren Sie zuerst die mitgelieferte Software (mindestens den Treiber;
die restliche Software ist zum Betrieb nicht erforderlich!); erst danach darf
die Kamera an einen freien USB-Port angesteckt werden.
First of all install the software supplied (at least the driver; the rest of the
software is not necessary for operation!), only then should you connect the
camera to a free USB port.
Zum Betrieb ist mindestens Windows 98 erforderlich.
The minimum operational requirement is Windows 98/98SE
Legen Sie die mitgelieferte CD in das entsprechende Laufwerk Ihres PCs ein und folgen Sie allen Anweisungen. Vor dem Anstecken der Webcam ist u.U. ein Neustart
von Windows erforderlich.
Falls das Installationsprogramm nicht automatisch startet, so starten Sie z.B. im
Datei-Explorer von Windows die Datei "setup.exe" im Hauptverzeichnis der CD (bei
neueren Versionen der CD evtl. auch in einem Unterverzeichnis zu finden o.ä.).
Place the disc supplied in the corresponding disc drive of your PC and follow the
instructions. Before connecting the webcam you must restart Windows.
If the installation programme does not start up automatically, then start it manually
via Windows Explorer and by selecting "setup.exe" in the main menu of the CD (it is
possible that with new CDs you must look in a sub-directory).

Verbinden Sie nach der Installation des Treibers den USB-Stecker mit einem freien
USB-Port des PCs, stecken Sie den Klinkenstecker in den Mikrofon-Eingang des
PCs. Windows erkennt die neue Hardware und installiert/aktiviert den Treiber.
After having installed the driver you can connect the USB plug into a free USB port
on your PC, just insert the jack plug into the microphone input of the PC. Windows
will recognise the new hardware and automatically installs/activates the driver.

Tipps und Hinweise
• Bei Windows XP finden Sie die Kamera z.B. in der Systemsteuerung unter
"Scanner und Kameras". Klicken Sie das kleine Kamerasymbol an, das Videobild
der Kamera sollte erscheinen.
• Die Schärfe lässt sich über vorsichtiges Drehen des Objektivrings einstellen.
• Abhängig von der verwendeten Software können mit der oben auf der Webcam
befindlichen Taste Einzelbilder ("Snapshot"-Funktion) gemacht werden.
• Zum Betrieb der Webcam ist nur der Treiber ("Driver") erforderlich. Die zusätzlich
vom Installationsprogramm angebotene Software ist nicht erforderlich. Installieren
Sie diese zusätzliche Software nur bei Bedarf.
• Die Kamera arbeitet mit jeder herkömmlichen Webcam-Anwendung zusammen,
z.B. "Microsoft Netmeeting".
• Bitte beachten Sie, dass zur Aufnahme über das in der Webcam eingebaute
Mikrofon die Lautstärkeregelung in Windows entsprechend eingestellt sein muss,
aktivieren Sie das Mikrofon.

• For Windows XP you will find the camera e.g in Settings/System under "Scanner
and Cameras". Click on the small camera symbol, the video picture of the camera
should appear.
• You can focus the camera by carefully rotating the lens ring.
• Depending on the software you are using, the button on the top of the camera can
be used to take still pictures ("Snapshot" function).
• To operate the webcam, only the driver ("Driver") is necessary. The additional
software offered by the installation programme is not necessary. Install this extra
software only if you need it.
• The camera operates together with every conventional webcam application e.g.
"Microsoft Netmeeting".
• Please note that to record sound via the built-in microphone on the webcam, you
must regulate the volume via Windows. Activate the microphone

Installation des pilotes
Installer d'abord le logiciel fourni avec l'appareil (le pilote au moins, le reste
du logiciel n'est pas nécessaire !) ; ce n'est qu'alors qu'il est possible de
raccorder la caméra à un port USB libre.
Pour le fonctionnement, la configuration requiert au moins Windows 98 .
Insérez le CD de pilotes dans le lecteur correspondant de votre PC puis suivez toutes les instructions. Avant de raccorder le webcam, redémarrer Windows le cas
échéant.
Au cas où le programme d'installation ne se lance pas automatiquement, lancez le
fichier "setup.exe" dans le répertoire principal du CD dans l'explorateur de fichier
de Windows (sur les nouvelles versions du CD, ce fichier peut également se trouver
dans un sous-répertoire).
Branchement du webcam
Après l'installation du pilote, relier la fiche USB à un port USB libre de l'ordinateur,
brancher le connecteur jack à l'entrée du microphone du PC. Windows détecte le
nouveau matériel informatique et installe/active le pilote.
Conseils et indications
• Pour Windows XP, vous trouverez la caméra sur le panneau de configuration sous
« Scanner et caméras ». Cliquez sur le petit symbole de la caméra, l´image vidéo
de la caméra doit apparaître.
• Vous réglez la netteté en tournant avec précaution la bague d´objectif.
• Selon le logiciel utilisé, il est possible de faire des photos séparées à l'aide de la
touche supérieure se trouvant sur le webcam (fonction « Snapshot »).
• Seul le pilote (« Driver » est nécessaire au fonctionnement du webcam. Le logiciel
supplémentaire proposé par le programme d'installation n'est pas nécessaire.
N'installer ce logiciel supplémentaire que si vous en avez besoin.
• La caméra fonctionne avec toute application classique webcam, avec « Microsoft
Netmeeting » par exemple.
• Veuillez noter que pour enregistrer à l'aide du microphone intégré dans le webcam, il faut régler en conséquence le volume sonore dans Windows, activer le
microphone.
