In the context of the Active Noise Control activities, Faurecia Emissions Control
Technologies is searching a student (male/female) (BAC +5) for an
Internship in the domain
of
AUTOMOTIVE EMBEDDED SYSTEMS and ACOUSTIC DESIGN ALGORITHMS
For the research centre located in BAVANS (France, Doubs)
During his/her internship, the student will have to :
- Refine and enhance the existing active noise cancellation and sound design
algorithms inside Faurecia Emissions Control Technologies.
- Be involved in the investigation of novelties and improvements for active
noise control of vehicle exhaust systems.
- Develop Matlab/simulink models with respect to the automotive industry
guidelines.
- Validate developed models and techniques on a dedicated test bench using
rapid control prototyping tools.
- Report about progress, results in English.
Ideal Profile :
- Master degree in electronics engineering, acoustical engineering or any related
engineering fields;
- Knowledge and good programming skills in Matlab/Simulink/stateflow;
- Knowledge in Controldesk and MABX (Dspace)
- Prior background in at least one of the following areas: signal processing,
control laws modelling and dynamic identification algorithms. Previous experience
in active noise control is an asset;
- Good communication skills in both oral and written English;
- Ability to work independently and good team dynamics;
