MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
We, the undersigned company, hereby declare to make the following commitment:
- To become member of the Member Association for the Research on Corrosion and Corrosion Protection
(ARCOR) of Institut de la Corrosion from 01/01/2016 for a minimal duration of three years, re-conducted
automatically every year. Cancellation of the membership should be done six months before the end of
each year in written form (after the first 3 years).
- And to pay for each fiscal year a membership fee of  6000 Euros VAT excluded per technical
committee - (Participation at n committee = n x 6000 Euros ; select the committee(s))

ARCOR Association for the Research on Corrosion and Corrosion Protection
ARCOR is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 after the establishment in France of the “French
Corrosion Institute” subsidiary of the Swedish Corrosion Institute (SwereaKimab since the merging with
Institute of Metal research in January 2006).

ARCOR objectives are to support research and to encourage dissemination of knowledge in the field of
corrosion and anti-corrosion through technical committees which reflect the activities of members. ARCOR
provides a unique forum for the exchange of technical information.

MRC “ Corrosion testing, modelling and sensor technology ”
This MRC is devoted to accelerated corrosion testing, corrosion
sensors and modelisation.
This committee is multi-sector and acts as exchange forum between
the different committees.
This committee is available for member

MRC « Paints and linings for steel and related alloys structures in atmosphere and in immersion »
This MRC is devoted to the protection of steel structures by paints
and linings in atmosphere and immersion for application in
shipbuilding industry, offshore and infrastructure.
R&D projects of this MRC are mainly focused on the following

MRC « Oil and Gas production: metallic materials»
This MRC is devoted to the corrosion of materials used in oil and
gas production.
R&D projects of this MRC may be focused on the following
issues :
- Corrosion resistance of materials and equipments in sour
environments (e.g. containing H2S)
- Corrosion resistance of materials in super-critical CO2
environments
- Further development of new testing methods and electrochemical
measurements under high pressure/H2S conditions
MRC « Wet Corrosion »
The activities within this specific M.R.C are limited to materials in
aqueous solution and will cover the followings:
- Development of test methods (in particular electrochemical
techniques)
- Development of monitoring techniques (in particular field
related techniques)
- Fundamental knowledge about corrosion mechanisms of
materials in aqueous solutions
- Modeling of the interactions between material and solution
