The Canadian Red Cross Quebec Zone
The Canadian Red Cross
Quebec Zone
Annual
Fundraising
Gala
Thanks to the exceptional ongoing support of Ms Michèle Dionne,
wife of the Premier of Quebec, the Canadian Red Cross – Quebec Zone
has held a gala fundraising event every year since 2005. Each year,
a co-chair is chosen from among the most influential business leaders
in Quebec, and leading citizens from
across Quebec are invited to participate.
In just a few short years, this event has
grown to become the most important
Red Cross fundraiser in Canada.
All the proceeds are used to support
the mission of the Canadian Red
Cross – Quebec Zone: a mission of
preparation and response carried out
by devoted volunteers who provide
first aid services to families, children,
the elderly and the vulnerable in the
event of fires, floods or evacuations.
2010 China
The sixth annual Canadian Red Cross – Quebec Zone fundraising
gala will honour China. This year, Mr. André Desmarais,
President and co-CEO of the Power Corporation of Canada,
joins Ms Michèle Dionne as co-chair. Over the course of this
exceptional evening, guests will be dazzled by an exotic ambiance
honouring the richness and beauty of Chinese culture and heritage.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 20, 2010
at Alexandra Quay in Montreal’s Old Port.
(Suggested dress: semi-formal)

efforts to help disaster victims in Quebec.
