Sanction :
La Finale de l’European Handbike Circuit est la dernière épreuve du challenge international qui
compte pour l’EHC. Cette épreuve a également le niveau P1 dans le calendrier UCI Paracyclisme
comptant pour le ranking individuel et par nation de l’UCI Paracyclisme. Les coureurs respecteront les
règlements en usage à l’EHF et à l’UCI.
L’épreuve se déroule sur 1 jours et comprend un contre la montre (TT), le matin et une course sur
route (RR), en début de soirée, elle est ouverte aux divisions HC (handcycling) et CP (tricycle).
La présidence du jury des commissaires sera assurée par Mr Thierry Diederen, Commissaire
International UCI.

Localisation :
La Commune d’Oupeye est situé à 15 km de Liège (Lüttich) et 10 km de Maastricht (NL), le long de
la E 25. Le « village course » sera situé à la piscine de Haccourt : rue de Tongres 59 à 4684 Oupeye – Haccourt
Pour accéder à la Piscine:
Autoroute E25 Liège-Maastricht, sortie n°2 Visé, direction Haccourt.
Par train/ By rail (Thalys) : Gare de Liège Guillemins ou gare de visé
Le tarif de l’inscription participation EHC comprise est fixée à : 45 euros comprenant l’inscription
dont participation EHF, le welcome pack, …
Une liste d’hôtels se trouve en annexe, un tarif préférentiel sera négocié avec l’AJ de Liège
Vestiaires, douches et parking :
Piscine de Haccourt : rue de Tongres 59 à 4684 – Haccourt
Programme:
Vendredi 02 octobre:
De 17.00 à 21.00 : Accueil des participants (piscine de Haccourt), distribution des transpondeurs et
dossards.
Samedi 03 octobre:
De 07.00 à 09.00 : Accueil des participants (piscine de Haccourt),, distribution des transpondeurs et
dossards.
A 10.00 : Contre-la-montre, 1er départ : 10.00 suivi d’une minute par coureurs, l’horaire définitif sera
connu le samedi 09.00 à la clôture des inscriptions.
HC : 2 tours
CP1/CP2 : 2 tours
A 17.00 : course sur route suivie par la cérémonie protocolaire, en soirée : remise des prix & Farewell
Party.
HC B & C : 10 tours
HC A & Dames, CP 1 & 2 : 8 tours
Un circuit d’échauffement est prévu sur le quai du Canal Albert (Ravel)

Parcours :
Le parcours sera de 4.4 km sur un parcours TOTALEMENT asphalté. Le départ et l’arrivée se
dérouleront Rue de Tongres (entrée de la piscine) (voir ci-dessous)
Le circuit est totalement fermé à la circulation dès 09h00. Le parcours sera nettoyé le matin de la
course.
Douches et vestiaires :
Les douches et les vestiaires seront à la disposition des athlètes à la piscine de Haccourt.

Remarque:
Le port du casque est OBLIGATOIRE. Les coureurs portant un casque de la mauvaise couleur
dans les épreuves sur route ne pourront pas prendre le départ ou seront mis hors course et
disqualifiés.
Les athlètes non handicapés ont les mêmes droits et devoirs que les autres.
Remise des prix:
La cérémonie protocolaire commencera vers 20.00 et sera suivie de l’EHC Final Party !
Des coupes, bouquets et prix en espèces seront remis aux meilleurs de chaque catégorie.
Chronométrage et classements :
Le chronométrage sera fait par transpondeurs (ChronoRace Electronic Timing). Le classement des
courses est établi au temps brut.
Une caution de 20 € sera demandée à l’inscription pour le chip !
Divers :
La photofinish et le speaker se trouveront sur la ligne de départ/arrivée.
Les résultats seront disponibles dès le 04/10/2009 sur le site www.chronorace.be.
Le gagnant dans une catégorie ne remporte un prix en argent que s’il y a eu au minimum 3 coureurs
dans la catégorie qui ont participé à la course.
Les deux premiers dans une catégorie ne remportent un prix en argent que s’il y a eu au minimum 4
coureurs dans la catégorie qui ont participé à la course.
Les trois premiers dans une catégorie ne remportent un prix en argent que s’il y a eu au minimum 5
coureurs dans la catégorie qui ont participé à la course.
Animation :
Lors des courses se tiendra un Village course pour partenaires/associations/infos courses ainsi qu’une
animation musicale en soirée.
Responsabilité civile :
Une responsabilité civile couvre les dommages éventuels occasionnés sur des membres de l’EHC ou
des tiers lors de la participation à une ou plusieurs courses ou manifestations organisées par l’EHF.
Navettes aéroport :
Un service de navette sera à votre disposition pour l’arrivée et le départ à partir des aéroports de
Bruxelles national (Zaventem) et de Bruxelles-sud (Charleroi). Une participation de 20 € sera
demandée.

Penalty:
The finale of the European Handbike Circuit is the last event of the international challenge which
counts for the EHC. These races have also the level P1 in the calendar UCI Paracycling counting for
the individual ranking and by nation of the UCI Paracycling. The riders will respect the regulations in
use by the EHF and the UCI.
The event take place on 1 day and includes one Time Trial ( TT), in the morning and a road race
( RR), the races are open to the divisions HC (handcycling) and CP (tricycle).
The presidency of the jury of the commissars will be assured by Mr Thierry Diederen, International
Commissar UCI.

Location :
The Commune of Oupeye is located about 15 km from Liège ( Lüttich) and 10 km far from Maastricht

To reach the Swimming pool:
Highway E25 Liège-Maastricht, take out n°2 gate “Visè”, direction Haccourt.
By rail (Thalys): station of Liège Guillemins or station of Visè
The entry fee of the registration included is fixed at 45 euro including the registration of which
participation EHF, the welcome pack,
A 20-€ pledge will be asked the registration for the chip!
Changing rooms, showers and parking:

A list of hotels is in appendix, a preferential rate will be negotiated with the Youth hostel of Liege.
A warming-up area is foreseen along the Albert Canal (Ravel).

Program:
Friday, October 02nd:
From 17.00 to 21.00: reception of the participants (Haccourt swimming pool), distribution of
transponders and numbers.
Saturday, October 03rd:
From 07.00 to 09.00: reception of the participants (Haccourt swimming pool), distribution of
transponders and numbers.
10.00: time trial, 1st departure: 10.00 followed by one minute by runners, the definitive start time will
be known on Saturdays 09.00 to the closing of the registrations.
HC: 2 laps
CP1 / CP2: 2 laps
17.00: road race followed by the prize ceremony and Farewell Party.
HC B and C: 10 laps
HC A and Ladies, CP 1 & 2: 8 laps
Course:
The course will be 4.4 km long on a totally asphalted way. The start and the finish will take place Rue
de Tongres (entry of the swimming pool).
The circuit is totally closed in the traffic from 09:00 am. The way will be cleaned in the morning
before the race.
Showers and changing rooms will be at the disposal of the riders in the swimming pool of Haccourt.
Red helmet:
CP 2 men and women, HC C men and women
White helmet:

Remark:
The bearing of the helmet is COMPULSORY. The runners having a helmet of the bad colours
during the events cannot take the start or will be taking out of the race and disqualified.
The able bodies’ athletes have the same rights and the duties as the others.
Prize ceremony:
The prze and jersey’s ceremony will begin towards 20.00 and will be followed by the Final EHC
Party!
Cups, bouquets and prizes in cash will be handed to the best of every category.
Timing and rankings
The timing will be made by transpondors (ChronoRace Electronic Timing). The results of the races are
established in the raw time.
The results will be available from 04/10/2009 on the site www.chronorace.be.
Varia’s
Photo finish and the speaker will be on the start/finish line.
The winner in a category gains a prize money only if there were least 3 runners in the category who
participated in the race.
Both first ones in a category gain a prize money only if there were least 4 runners in the category who
participated in the race.
Three first ones in a category gain a prize money only if there were least 5 runners in the category who
participated in the race.
Animation:
During the race will be held a “Race Village” for partners / associations / information races as well as
a musical animation in the evening.
Civil liability :
A civil liability covers the possible damages caused on members of the EHC or the thirds parties
during the participation to one or several races or demonstrations organized by the EHF.
Airport Shuttle:
A shuttle service will be at your disposal for the arrival and the departure from the airports of Brussels
national (Zaventem) and of Brussels-South (Charleroi). A 20-€ participation will be asked.
Deadline for the entry:
28/09/2009, any later registration that this date will not be possible any more for organization reasons!
