The Canadian Food Inspection Agency
(CFIA) is inviting you to attend an Industry
Information Session on the Food Safety
Enhancement Program (FSEP) and the
Compliance Verification System (CVS).
These one-day sessions are being
organized in conjunction with the Canadian
Meat Council, the Canadian Poultry and
Egg Processors Council, the Further Poultry
Processors Association of Canada and the
North American Meat Association.
The session will start with a review of the
main elements to be in place in food
establishments to avoid crisis associated
with food safety. Industry representatives
will then explain how they analyse data for
the purpose of detecting deviations or
deviation patterns (process awareness).
Industry representatives will also explain
how to respond to third party standards
using a HACCP system based on FSEP
requirements.
The rest of the session will focus on
providing information related to revisions
made or to be made to the food safety
enhancement program and the compliance
verification system.

L’Agence canadienne d’inspection des
aliments (ACIA) vous invite à participer à
une session d’information sur le Programme
d’amélioration de la salubrité des aliments
(PASA) et sur le Système de vérification de
la conformité (SVC).
Ces sessions d’une journée sont organisées
avec la collaboration du Conseil des
viandes du Canada, du Conseil canadien
des transformateurs d’œufs et de volailles,
de l'Association canadienne des
transformateurs de volailles et de
l’Association des transformateurs de viande
nord-américains.
La session débutera par une revue des
éléments principaux à mettre en place dans
les établissements alimentaires pour éviter
les crises reliées à la salubrité des aliments.
Des représentants de l’industrie
expliqueront ensuite comment certaines
données sont analysées afin de détecter
des écarts ou des tendances vers des
écarts (sensibilisation au processus). Des
représentants de l’industrie expliqueront
également comment répondre aux normes
des tierces parties, et ce, en utilisant un
système HACCP basé sur les exigences du
PASA.
Le reste de la session sera concentrée sur
les changements qui ont été ou qui seront
prochainement apportés au PASA et au
système de vérification de la conformité.
