Situated between the historic cities of Narbonne and Carcassonne in the heart of the Corbières
region, the Château Hortala winery surrounds the little village of Cruscades. It has belonged to
the same family for many centuries.
In a landscape steeped in tradition, a fruity and elegant white wine harmoniously blended from
vines cultivated with the greatest care.
Tasting notes:
Colour: Luminous straw-yellow colour with glints of silver.
Aroma: Fine, elegant nose recalling white-fleshed fruits such as pear and melon.
Palate: A full and round palate reveals notes of honeysuckle and spice. The aroma of lemon peel
lends a lovely and agreeable freshness to the finish.
Serving suggestions: Serve chilled at 8°-12°C (46-54 F)
Food pairing: This elegant, exuberant, and fruity wine will cheerfully accompany your aperitifs
and complement fish (salmon lasagna, tielles), goat cheese with honey, or exotic foods,
particularly sweet and sour dishes such as Moroccan Pastilla.
