Concerts d’orgue gratuits tous les dimanches à 15 h 30
Fondée en 1960, cette série propose maintenant 50 concerts
gratuits mettant en vedette 40 organistes de 10 pays, 15 instrumentistes
et plus de 300 choristes.

Mária Budačova est née à Breznička, en Slovaquie. En
2009, elle a obtenu un diplôme en orgue ainsi qu’en direction chorale du conservatoire de la ville de Bratislava.
Elle a d’ailleurs eu un chœur sous sa direction lors de la
cérémonie d’assermentation du président actuel de la
république de Slovaquie.
Se consacrant désormais entièrement à l’orgue, Mária a
prit part de nombreuses années au prestigieux festival
des jeunes organistes Slovaques. En 2011, elle a étudié
à l’Académie de Musique et des Arts de Prague sous la
tutelle de Pavel Černý, où elle a obtenu un Baccalauréat. Elle a également étudié à
l’université de musique de Vienne avec le réputé professeur Pier Damiano Peretti.
Mária Budáčová étudie présentement à l’obtention d’un diplôme d’artiste à
l’université McGill de Montréal sous la direction de Hans-Ola Ericsson. Elle est aussi
organiste titulaire et chef de chœur de l’église St-Cyril et Methodius, à Montréal.
Récemment, on a pu l’entendre, en 2014, au concours international d’orgue du
Canada où elle a fait partie des 5 finalistes.
Mária Budačova is an organist from Breznička, Slovakia. In 2009, she graduated with a diploma in organ and choral conducting at the Conservatory in
Bratislava. Mária was a conductor in the inauguration service of the President of Slovak
Republic.
After graduating, she continued to only study organ performance. While studying
in Bratislava, she attended the Festival of Young Slovakian Organists nearly every
year, also being a member of the Chamber Choir of Conservatory. In 2011, she
began studies at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Prague, under the
guidance Pavel Černý. She also studied in Vienna as an ERASMUS student at the
Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst, with Professor Pier Damiano Peretti.
Mária holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Academy of Music in Prague.
Mária was among 5 finalists in the prestigious Canadian International Organ
Competition. She is currently studying Organ Performance at McGill University
under the direction of Hans-Ola Ericsson, and she is also a Choir Master for the
Slovak Roman Catholic Church of Sts. Cyril and Methodius in Montreal.
