Description (Academic Calendar)
Vocabulaire propre à chacune des grandes divisions de l’administration, lecture
d’articles de revues et de journaux choisis principalement en fonction du
vocabulaire, révision de points de grammaire pertinents, courtes présentations en
classe par les étudiants sur des sujets reliés au monde des affaires.

vocabulaire propre à chacune des grandes divisions de l’administration :
comptabilité, économique, finance, informatique, droit des affaires,
marketing, impôt, gestion des ressources humaines, Bourse, banque,
assurances, commerce international, mathématiques financières,
statistiques, etc.;
lecture d’articles de revues et de journaux choisis principalement en fonction
du vocabulaire : les étudiants devront répondre à des questions sur ces
articles ou faire un condensé de ces articles;
revue de certains points de grammaire particuliers au monde des affaires :
abréviations, sigles, majuscules et minuscules, anglicismes, certains verbes
courants, trait d’union, division des mots, accord de certains participes
passés, emploi du subjonctif, orthographe;
courtes présentations en classe par les étudiants sur des sujets reliés au
monde des affaires.

Students' Responsibilities
"Students have a responsibility to attend lectures and laboratories and to perform
punctually all academic assignments in accordance with the standards prescribed
by the departments concerned and announced by the instructors at the beginning
of the year. Failure to fulfil these requirements may lead to debarment from
examinations. Protracted absence from the University may involve debarment
from courses. Students are required to return promptly after holidays, and are
requested not to make travel plans which will interfere with registration or

How to log in to Bishop's WebCT Server
Using Netscape or Internet Explorer:
o Go to the web site http://WEBCT.UBISHOPS.CA
(not WWW.....)
o Select Log on to myWebCT
o Enter your user name (= your student number)
o Enter your password (= PIN number for DAG access)
o You should see your professor's course, eg. BAC221, as a course
available to you and can select it
Note: Only students who are registered in a particular course (which the professor
has also actuated for WebCT) will have access to this material.
If you have any technical difficulties accessing a WebCT course, please see the
lab consultant. If the consultant is unable to help you, please visit the Multimedia
Centre and ask for technical help.
Note that for a student to be able to access a WebCT course:
· The instructor must have told the students that this particular was set up
with WebCT
· The student must be officially registered in the course
· WebCT class-lists will be updated on a daily basis at 4:00 pm
· Students choosing to add/drop courses may have to wait a day or two
before they can access the added courses.
