speakers Ariane de Rothschild Vice-Présidente, Edmond de Rothschild Holding SA (Genève-CH) D’origine Franco-allemande, Ariane de Rothschild est née à San Salvador et a grandi en Amérique Latine et sur le Continent Africain. Elle a fait des études économiques à Paris avant d’obtenir un MBA à la Pace Université de New York. De langues maternelles française, allemande et espagnole, elle maîtrise également parfaitement l’anglais et l’italien. Ariane de Rothschild a plus de 15 ans d’expérience dans la finance: elle a débuté sa carrière comme cambiste à la Société Générale en Australie avant de travailler à New York. Plus tard, elle a rejoint American insurance corporation AIG, dont elle a installé le bureau à Paris. Elle en a ensuite développé le marché européen du Groupe pendant cinq années. Ariane de Rothschild est membre du Conseil d’Administration de la Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild à Genève, de Edmond de Rothschild Holding SA, de la Holding Benjamin et Edmond de Rothschild Pregny. A Paris, elle fait également partie des Conseils d’Administration de La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild Banque, La Compagnie Financière Saint-Honoré et Barons et Baronne Associés. Phil Wall Senior Partner, Signify (London – UK) Phil Wall is an experienced leadership coach and change consultant. With his mixed background of London Policeman and Youth mentor, he has built a successful business (Signify Ltd) based on a robust and candid engagement, mixed with an empathic and relational style. Phil is a qualified coach, NLP practitioner and holds an MSc in Coaching and Consulting for Change from HEC Paris and Oxford University Said Business School. He is retained by a number of senior executives to help shape the leadership agenda within their companies and facilitate significant change initiatives across diverse business sectors. Phil has been working as a mentor and coach for 20 years. Current clients include Cisco, HSBC, Novartis, BMW, Ogilvy and Mazars. He coaches a mix of Global and European heads within these organizations and some high potentials. Phil is a regular speaker at leadership conferences, leading workshops on creating an Inspirational Leadership style. He is also the founder of the international AIDS orphan charity Hopehiv. He is married with three children and lives in Wimbeldon. John Horniblow Digital and Social Media Marketing and Communications Consultant (Geneva – CH) Jogi Rippel Founder/CEO, Tignum Institute for Sustainable High Performance (Zurich – CH) John is a passionate, award winning digital innovator and convergence professional who has worked with some of the world¹s leading and most respected companies and brands including Toyota, Nestle, Nike, Apple, Microsoft, Activision, News Corporation and technology and media startups. Prior to moving to Switzerland, he led the interactive marketing efforts across all consumer facing digital channels for Activision, the leading publisher in interactive entertainment and video games including Guitar Hero,Call of Duty, Tony Hawk and Transformers, and Spiderman. He ran some of the earliest forays into social media marketing on mySpace and Facebook, developed a number of company firsts in driving web 2.0 fan based communities as a cornerstone to deep CRM activities, developed a behaviour and stereotype mapping CRM platform and won a number of awards for breakthrough online marketing. Earlier he was a producer on the launch of the MSN online network in Australia, before moving to Los Angeles to be the Director of Production and Content Development for SpikeRadio, the world's first 24/7 online radio network. John has shot, directed and produced award winning short, television documentary and industrial films working with broadcasters such as BBC, SBS, and ABC; he is also known as a photographer who has published with Time, National Geographic, Penguin books and other periodicals and is the Editor and founder of Photojournale, a global online community of leading photojournalists. He recently published its first book: Connections Across a Human Planet. Jogi Rippel is a frequent speaker on the need for sustainable high performing leaders in the business world. Prior to founding Tignum, Jogi led a consulting firm that specialized in communication, innovation and change. He has collaborated on and implemented strategic projects and product launches throughout Europe, Japan, and the US for many global brands. After co-founding an international project for cancer prevention and cancer coaching, he realized that helping business leaders achieve their full performance potential was his passion. 3ème Women’s Added Value in the Economy (WAVE) Le Career Women’s Forum a été créé en 1982 et s’adresse à des femmes professionnelles indépendantes et cadres. Le but est de favoriser l’épanouissement de la femme dans les différents secteurs de la vie économique, politique et sociale: en facilitant le réseautage et l’échange d’informations au travers de ses nombreuses initiatives, le CWF contribue à l’émergence et au maintien de la diversité des genres dans les sphères dirigeantes. Le CWF compte aujourd’hui plus de 300 adhérentes dont certaines font partie de nos «Corporate Member» (CM). Cette formule a été proposée il y a 6 ans aux entreprises qui comptent une présence féminine de plus en plus nombreuse à leur tête. Le CWF se veut un acteur important dans la visibilité du rôle de la femme dans le monde académique, politique et économique. Fort des succès rencontrés en 2009 et 2010, le Comité du CWF a décidé d’organiser le troisième Forum «WOMEN’S ADDED VALUE IN THE ECONOMY» (WAVE), lundi 24 janvier 2011 à l’hotel Métropole à Genève, entre 16h00 et 20h00. Le WAVE sera suivi d’un «networking cocktail» sur place. Le fil conducteur de cette nouvelle édition est le rôle de leader en situation de crise: dans le contexte actuel, et surtout avec l’année qui vient de se terminer, il est intéressant de se pencher sur le rôle que peuvent avoir les leaders dans les temps difficiles. Sont-ils préparés à toutes les situations? Existe-t-il des leaders nés pour les situations de crise? Est-ce que la crise permet l’émergence de nouveaux leaders?
