The POWER WAVE 345 with LF40 wire
feeder is an Industrial Pulse welding
package, part of the new Lincoln concept.
These new products were developed
with the welder in mind, therefor all the
welding controls are located at the wire
feeder, making the welding parameters
easy to adjust.
The Powerwave 345 is supplied with a set
of synergic welding programs to support
Steel, Stainless and Aluminium applications. Conventional CV MIG, Stick
welding, Pulse welding and Lift TIG are
also included. The Hot/Soft facility allows
welding with a higher or lower current
before the required welding parameters
are established. The Hot start is most
beneficial for aluminium applications.
When welding cold Aluminium material,
the higher energy levels at the start provide better wetting and a flatter weld. The
arc is established at the welding level
once the material has been pre-heated.
To further support Aluminium welding, the
Pulse on Pulse (Double Pulse) programs
provide a very stable arc at low amperes.
Included in the package is the LF40.
designed to combine easy handling and
control by the welder with perfect wire
feeding. All LINC FEED feeders are
equipped with the same rugged four-roll
drive system. This drive is easy to access
and protected by the unique fliptop cover.
A rugged undercarriage also allows the
wirefeeder to be used at a distance from
the power source. The power source
itself is equipped with a storage compartment for tools and accessories.

Pulse on Pulse TM Process
The Pulse on Pulse TM process has been designed to provide the welder with an alternative to conventional Pulse MIG welding of Aluminum or Stainless Steel but with the
quality of TIG. By simply super-imposing an additional pulse onto the base pulse, you
control the ripple and formation of the finished weld.
