Listing of First Nation Agencies
Alberta's first formal commitment to the delivery of Aboriginal child intervention services by First Nation
agencies came with the signing of the 1973 Blackfoot (Siksika)-Canada-Alberta Child Welfare agreement. The
majority of on-Reserve child intervention services are delivered by delegated First Nation Child and Family
Services agencies within the geographical boundaries of the Reserves of their respective member First
Nations. Click here to view a map of Alberta's Delegated First Nation Agencies.
