The School
We are L’Ecole Internationale Franco- Anglaise, an independent, international, coeducational, bilingual school. We are looking for a nursery manager (Rising 2s) to
lead the creation and development of a CRECHE in our Primary and Secondary
Schools.
Our Schools are genuinely different because we teach almost all subjects in both
English and French. Our approach is child-centred, with a focus on the individual
children's needs, and diversity is at the heart of our philosophy. Our method of
bilingual learning is seen to enhance cognitive dexterity and thus forms an ideal
preparation for higher education.
The Opportunity
We believe this is both an interesting and exciting opportunity for an experienced
French/English bilingual Nursery Manager. We want you to be involved with the
planning and implementation of this project right from the start. We hope that you will
be in post by April 2016 in order to spearhead all aspects of this development,
including the hiring of staff and building of resources.
Duties for the post
-
Arranging marketing and publicity materials with management team
With approval of the management team, furnishing the crèche with suitable
equipment, furniture and toys, and making sure it maintains in good condition
Interviewing and inducting suitably qualified and experienced staff
Supporting and developing the nursery team
Managing a budget
Speaking to potential and existing parents, giving them high standard of customer
service
Creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment that promotes learning through
play
Supervising activity planning to ensure that children’s needs are met
Creating management reports, and maintaining staff and child records
Essential Requirements:
-
Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Early Childhood Education or the equivalent such
as NNEB.
Have strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as well
as the OFSTED standards.
At least 10 years relevant work experience
Experience in a nursery managerial role
High level of proficiency in English and French
Strong understanding of safeguarding regulations
Strong understanding of Health and Safety
Hold a current DBS (Enhanced) / or equivalent if from outside the UK
Highly Desirable:

Previous experience opening a new crèche
Salary: in the region of £27,000 to £35,000 per annum.

L’établissement
L’EIFA est une école indépendante, privée, internationale et laïque qui offre une

L’enseignement, basé sur le curriculum français uniquement, est dispensé dans les
deux langues ; en français et en anglais.
Description du poste
Dans le cadre de l’ouverture de sa crèche en septembre 2016, l’EIFA recrute un
directeur H/F à temps plein capable de créer, de développer et d’implémenter un
programme bilingue pour des enfants de 18 mois à 3 ans.
Profil






Etre titulaire d’un diplôme NVQ Level 3 in Early Childhood Education ou un
équivalent au NNEB
Avoir une bonne connaissance des exigences EYFS et Ofsted ainsi que des
différents règlements qui s’appliquent aux enfants de cette tranche d’âge
Avoir des qualités relationnelles, un goût pour le management d’équipe et la
responsabilité. Autonomie et disponibilité sont des atouts pour exceller dans
cette fonction
Une expérience d’environ 10 ans en crèche ou dans un travail similaire
Un excellent niveau parlé et écrit de la langue anglaise et française
Un certificat anglais et /ou de l’étranger prouvant que votre casier judiciaire
est vierge
Exigences personnelles



Vous secondez les fondatrices dans la direction de la nouvelle structure sur
toutes les missions : vous veillez à la santé, à la sécurité, au développement
et au bien-être des enfants accueillis ainsi que du personnel encadrant
Vous assistez les fondatrices dans leurs missions administratives, de gestion
de la crèche et du personnel
Vous contribuez aux encarts publicitaires ainsi qu’à l’extension de la crèche





Vous participez à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre du projet pédagogique
en lien avec le projet d’établissement
Vous menez des actions d’accompagnement envers les parents mais aussi
envers le personnel encadrant
Vous participez au travail auprès des enfants en classe
Vous êtes responsable de l’aménagement du nouveau département dans son
entièreté
Vous êtes capable d’établir un budget relatif à votre département
Salaire
Entre £27,000 et £35,000 ; dépendant de vos compétences et ancienneté dans le
domaine
