Forming the Subjunctive with REGULAR Verbs
Today we are going to learn a new “tense/mood” called the ____________________. Before we learn

Forming the Subjunctive:
To form the Subjunctive you MUST follow a 3 step pattern:

What is the Subjunctive?
Forming the subjunctive is the easy part of the tense. The tricky part come from knowing _______________ to
use the Subjunctive. The Subjunctive is a “tense/mood” used ________________ CERTAIN compound phrases

In order to use the SUBJUNCTIVE in a compound phrase, the first half of the compound
sentence must fit into the WEIRDO categories:
