He works closely with HR professionals, general counsels, and directors of French companies and multinationals with local operations in France, offering them employment law advice notably in relation to management of individual contractual relationships with key employees and managers (hiring, promotion and international mobility, termination and settlement), compensation packages and employee stock incentives (mandatory and voluntary profit sharing schemes, company saving plans, stock-options, RSUs, etc.), negotiation with works councils and unions, and more generally compliance with local employment regulations. Over the last ten years, he has notably worked closely both with multinational corporations and private-equity funds and thereby developed an in-depth expertise in the following two fields: • advising investors on all employment law aspects raised in the context of private-equity acquisitions and more generally M&A operations: employment due diligence, information and consultation on works councils, harmonization of employee collective status, post-closing process for compliance with local employment regulations and/or group policies, cross-border issues, and management transition. • advising France-based subsidiaries of multinational corporations as they start operating or increase their operations in France—helping them achieve their strategic objectives while ensuring compliance with local employment regulations, notably in terms of working time, organization of employee representatives elections and collective bargaining, implementing group policies locally, and managing co-employment issues. He also frequently litigates complex disputes before French employment courts on behalf of national and international clients in relation to both individual and collective employment related claims.
