could interrupt the process are closed and that your
laptop has sufficient battery charge for at least 1 hours
operation or preferably plug into a mains supply. Do not
use the vehicle as a power supply.

FLASHING YOUR ECU
1. Once you have received your tuned data file, please save this
it to the same folder as your original file.
2. Follow steps 1-3 of ‘Extracting Your Vehicle ECU Data’
3. On the evolve-R software, select ‘Program ECU Memory’. You
will be prompted to select your new data file.
4. The flashing process will now begin (Image 3.A). Please
ensure this process is not interrupted in any way as
permanent ECU damage can occur.*
Please note that during the flashing process multiple error warnings may be triggered in some
cases. This is normal for certain ECU’s and does not represent an issue.
5. Once programming is 100% complete please switch off your
ignition and remove the evolve-R cable from your OBD-II port.
Wait 10 seconds before you start your engine.
Enjoy your new found powe-R!
Due to the adaptive nature of modern ECU’s a short running
period is required. This is usually no more than 20-80km’s.
* Interruption of this process involves any loss of power to the laptop or vehicle, the ignition being switched off or
unplugging of the cable.
