The GreenWatt repowering solution
Performance improvement of existing plants by the HYFAD®
•
•
•
A classical 1-phase plant can become underperforming if waste mix variations are high
GreenWatt has developed a solution to integrate a HYFAD reactor into existing plants.
The HYFAD digestor stabilizes and increases the plant performance
— Gas output increases and stabilizes.
— Plant robustness increases, allowing high feed flexibility.
Advantages of the GreenWatt solution
4 key benefits
On-site model
• Substrate availability guaranteed
• No cost for logistics
• Good heat valorization
• Digestate valorization as fertilizer
Easy to operate
• Plant operation requires less than
1 hour of work per day
• Advanced plant automation
• Remote monitoring
• Limited operational expenses
Robust
• Stable and consistent methane
production regardless of variations
in input
• 2-stage process eliminates the risk
of plant acidification
Flexible
• Versatility in input allowed: from
fruits over waste water to manure
and many more!
• Stable plant performance even
with seasonal feeding pattern
