In their first installation, the Sanchez brothers have created the scene of a bus accident in
which a passenger’s near-death experience is projected within the bus as an hologram. The
holographic technology used in this installation allows viewers to achieve a unique intimacy with a near-death experience. Based on several true accounts, this project seeks to
create an honest depiction of a sacred moment in which life and death are a breath apart.
Between Life and Death,
Pour leur première installation, les frères Sanchez ont créé une scène d’accident d’autobus dans laquelle un passager fait l’expérience d’un phénomène de mort imminente.
L’expérience est projetée sous forme d’hologramme à l’intérieur de l’autobus. La technologie holographique utilisée pour cette installation permet au spectateur de faire
l’expérience intime d’un phénomène de mort imminente. Ce projet, qui est basé sur
plusieurs témoignages d’expériences réelles, cherche à illustrer fidèlement un moment
sacré pendant lequel vie et mort ne sont séparées que par un souffle.
