PRESS RELEASE
13rd Excellence Evening of the Fondation of the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec
$11,000 IN EXCELLENCE AWARDS HANDED OUT TO TOP GRADUATES OF
THE COLLÈGE DE L’IMMOBILIER DU QUÉBEC
(NUNS’ ISLAND, June 10, 2016) – The 13rd edition of the Evening of Excellence Awards was
held on June 7th at the Hôtel Le Crystal in Montréal. The Fondation of the Collège de
l’immobilier du Québec awarded a total of $11,000 to 11 full-time students who obtained the
best cumulative averages within their respective programs in 2015.
Jean-François Baril hosted the evening, much to the delight of the 60 or so people from the
residential real estate, commercial real estate and mortgage brokerage industries who were
in attendance. The Fondation of the Collège de l’immobilier’s Evening of Excellence is the
most important event to recognize real estate education in Québec.
The brokers honoured at this event come from or work in the Montréal, Laval, Laurentians,
South Shore and Abitibi-Témiscamingue. They studied at the Collège de l’immobilier du
Québec in 2015, either in classroom or in virtual classrooms, in English or in French.
Since the launch of the Foundation in 2003, more than $250,000 has been distributed in
excellence awards to the best performing students and in scholarships.
The Collège, its Foundation and their partners congratulate the winners of this 13rd annual
Evening of Excellence and re-emphasize their commitment to the development of Quebec’s
commercial real estate, residential real estate and mortgage brokerage professionals.
