FRENCH FLAG NURSING CORPS.
.
Before leaving the Talence Military Hospital,.
Bordeaux, to take up her duties as Matron-inChief of the French Flag Nursing Corps in
Paris, Miss Emily J. Haswell was presented b y
the nursing staff with a beautiful leather attach&
case. The gift, which was unexpected, touched
Miss Haswell very much. She has left her charge
a t Talence with very sincere regret, as she had
got greatly attached
to her fellow-nurses
and the hospital,
and writes that she
will always ‘‘ look
back with pleasure

gave me, and quite
realize that without
it my work there
