REGISTER TEAM CALENDARS
iPhone
You can setup your iPhone so it automatically synchronize its calendar with the site calendar.
In your iPhone settings, in the section Mail, Contacts, Calendar, select Add Account
- Other
- Add Subscribed Calendar
- Enter the following server name:
Given [ICAL] Url
- if it is indicated that the server name cannot be verified, it is OK. Just click OK and on NEXT.
- if it is requested if you want to configure your account without SSL, this is OK. Just click on NEXT.
Also in your settings, in the section Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Fetch New Data, Fetch, select Every 30
minutes or Hourly
Android phone
If you have an Android phone, you need to install a small application that will allow to synchronize of
the iCalendar file with your phone. In summary, this application regularly read the site iCalendar file in
order to add the changes to your phone calendar.
There are many of these applications available. Some suggestions are ICalSync2, ICSSync et iCal
Import/Export 2.1. We are recommending ICalSync2.
ICalSync2 (free application with automatic sync)
Once installed, this small application allows you to import and automatically synchronize events of
your site in your phone calendar.
- Once installed, open the application and select 'show sync accounts'. The settings of your Android
phone will now open.
- Select the Accounts tab, and then add an account.
- Select ICalSyc2 from the list .
- In the account settings, you must specify a name and a color for your calendar. Let the type of
calendar at 'New Calendar.
- Under the section 'Source Type', ensure that the type of source is set to 'URL'.
- Then select the URL '(chose a url) 'and then select 'URL (adress to enter i-cal file)' and copy paste
the following address: Given [ICAL] Url
- Under the section 'Synchronization', uncheck the box for Keep local changes. You can also
choose the synchronization interval. We suggest 30 minutes, or 1 hour.
- You can change other settings if you wish, such as the synchronization interval. Once complete,
press 'save'.
- Once the initial synchronization is complete, a new calendar has been added to your phone with the
name you gave it and the events of it are added to your S Calendar.
- Note 1: Make sure that you hit the Save button when you are making a change in the iCalSync2
settings. It happens often that the change is not done even if we think it is done.
- Note 2: If you cannot activate the synchronization option for your calendars, ensure that the
'Background Data' option is ON in your phone or tablet settings.
ICSSync (not free but automatic synchro)
Once installed, this small application will allow you to import and automatically future calendar
changes into your phone calendar. If you use ICSSync, configure the following options once installed
on your phone:
- Add feed, specifies the following address: Given [ICAL] Url
- Ensure that option << Read only >> is checked. - Ensure that option << Skip certificate check >> is
checked
- Configure the synchronization interval to a suitable time (30 minutes).
- In your phone calendar, you should be able to select the calendar you just added in ICSSync.
iCal Import/Export 2.1 (free app but manual synchro). Make sure you use version 2.1
If you use iCal Import/Export 2.1, setup the following options once the application is installed:
- Create Calendar
- Display Name & Name: Your site name (ex: Soccer)
- Owner: Your name.
- Click on Create Calendar
- Continue
- Import
- Check Internet
- In the URL box, enter:
Given [ICAL] Url
- DO NOT check requires basic http....
- Click on Check Connection to verify the connection
- Continue
- Check Delete All entries before inserting?
- Import
At this point, the import process will start. Once completed, the events will be inserted in your phone
calendar.
IMPORTANT NOTE: With ICS importer/exporter 2.1, you will need to repeat this process to
synchronize your calendar with the latest modifications of your site calendar.
Blackberry
You can setup your Blackberry so it automatically synchronize its calendar with the site calendar.

Url
Google Calendar
You can setup your Google Calendar in order to include the calendar event of your site calendar.
- Click on the small down arrow beside OTHER CALENDARS and select the option ADD BY URL.
- Enter the following address: Given [ICAL] Url
Attention: Google calendar is slow to synchronize with a calendar that is added by URL.It can take up
to 24 hours for your Google Calendar to be updated when modifications are done on the site calendar.
This is a limitation of the Google calendar.
ABONNEMENT AU CALENDRIER D’EQUIPE
iPhone
Vous pouvez configurer votre iPhone pour que le calendrier de votre iPhone se synchronise
automatiquement avec le calendrier du site.
Dans les réglages de votre iPhone, dans la rubrique Mail, Contacts, Calendrier, sélectionnez Ajouter un
compte
- Autre
- Ajouter un calendrier avec abonnement
- Entrez le nom de serveur suivant: Lien
[ICAL] fourni
- si il est indiqué que l'identité du serveur ne peut pas être vérifié, cliquez sur OK et sur continuez.
- si il est demandé si vous voulez configurer le compte sans SSL, c'est OK. Cliquez sur CONTINUER
Aussi, sous vos réglages, dans la rubrique Comptes, section Nouvelles données:
- Récupération de données, sélectionnez toutes les 30 minutes ou toutes les heures
Téléphone Android
Si vous possédez un téléphone Android, il faut installer une petite application qui permettra la
synchronisation du fichier iCalendar (.ics) avec votre téléphone. En gros, cette application fera la
lecture du fichier iCalendar régulièrement afin de l'ajouter à l'agenda que vous utilisez sur votre
téléphone.
Il y a plusieurs de ces applications disponibles dans le Play Store d’ Android. Voici trois
suggestions: ICalSync2, ICSSync et iCal Import/Export 2.1. Nous recommandons l'application
ICalSync2.
ICalSync2 (application gratuite avec synchro automatique)
Une fois installée, cette petite application vous permet d'importer et de synchroniser automatiquement
les événements de votre site dans le calendrier de votre téléphone.
- Une fois installée, ouvrez l'application et sélectionnez 'show sync accounts'. Les paramètres de votre
téléphone Android vont s'ouvrir.
- Sélectionnez l'onglet comptes et ensuite 'ajouter un compte'.
- Sélectionnez ICalSyc2 parmi la liste.
- Dans ces paramètres de compte, vous devez spécifiez un nom et une couleur pour votre calendrier.
Laissez le type de calendrier à 'New Calendar'.
- Sous la section 'Source' , assurez que le type de source est bien à 'URL'.
- Sélectionnez ensuite 'URL (chose a url)' et encore 'URL (enter adress to i-cal file)' et copiez collez
cette adresse: Lien [ICAL] fourni
- Sous la section SYNCHRONISATION, décochez la boîte 'Keep local changes'. Ceci est important
afin de recevoir les changements au calendrier. - Sous la section SYNCHRONISATION, vous pouvez
aussi modifier l'intervalle de synchronisation. Nous suggérons chaque 30 minutes, ou chaque une
heure.
- Vous pouvez changer d'autres paramètres si vous le souhaitez, comme l'intervalle de
synchronisation. Une fois terminez, tapez 'save'.
- Une fois la première synchronisation terminée, un nouveau calendrier a été ajouté à votre téléphone
sous le nom que vous lui avez donné et les événements de celui-ci sont ajoutés à votre application S
Calendrier.
- Note 1: Assurez-vous de bien sauvegarder vos changements dans la configuration d’iCalSync2. Il y
a un bouton Save qu'il faut appuyer pour sauvegarder les changements. Il arrive souvent que l'on
croit avoir sauvegardé ces changements sans l'avoir vraiment fait.
- Note 2: Si la synchronisation n'est pas possible (vous ne pouvez pas activer cette fonction), alors
assurez-vous que l'option de 'Background Data' est activée dans les réglages de votre téléphone ou
tablette.
ICSSync (application non gratuite mais synchro automatique)
Une fois installée, cette petite application vous permet d'importer et de synchroniser automatiquement
les événements de votre site dans le calendrier de votre téléphone. Si vous utilisez ICSSync,
configurez les options suivantes une fois l'application installée:
- Ajouter la source (Add feed), spécifiez l'adresse suivante: Lien
[ICAL] fourni
- Assurez-vous que les options << Lire Seulement >> (Read Only) et << ne pas utiliser le certificat
>> (Skip certificate check) sont cochées.
- Configurez l'intervalle de temps pour la synchronisation (30 minutes).
- Dans le calendrier de votre téléphone (ex S-Planner), vous pourrez sélectionner le calendrier que
vous venez d'ajouter dans iCSSync.
iCal Import/Export 2.1 (application gratuite mais synchro manuelle, il faut utiliser la version 2.1)
Si vous utilisez iCal Import/Export 2.1, configurez les options suivantes une fois l'application
installée:
- Create Calendar
- Display Name & Name: Nom de votre site (ex: Soccer)
- Owner: Votre nom.
- Cliquez sur Create Calendar
- Continue
- Import
- Coché Internet
- Dans la boîte URL, entrez:
Lien [ICAL] fourni
- NE PAS coché Requires basic http....
- Vous pouvez cliquer Check Connection pour vérifier la connection
- Continue
- Cocher Delete All entries before inserting?
- Import
À ce moment, le processus d'importation s'enclenche. Une fois terminé, les événements seront dans le
calendrier de votre téléphone.
NOTE IMPORTANTE: Avec ICS Importer/Exporter 2.1, vous devrez répéter ce processus régulièrement
afin de synchroniser le calendrier de votre téléphone avec les dernières modifications du calendrier du
site.
BlackBerry
Vous pouvez configurer votre BlackBerry afin que les événements du calendrier du site soient importés
dans son calendrier.

Calendrier Google
Vous pouvez configurer votre calendrier Google (Google Calendar) afin que les événements du
calendrier du site soient importés dans le calendrier Google.
- Cliquez sur la petite flèche juste à côté d’AUTRES CALENDRIERS (Other calendars) et choisissez
l'option AJOUTER PAR URL (Add by URL).
- Entrez l'adresse suivante: Lien [ICAL] fourni
Attention: Le calendrier Google est lent à se synchroniser lors des changements. Il peut prendre
jusqu'à 24 heures pour qu'un changement dans le calendrier du site apparaisse dans le calendrier de
Google. Ceci est une limitation du calendrier Google.
