I/O connectivity
Besides dual Ethernet, dual COM and dual
USB the CP304 provides front panel
connection of either VGA-CRT or -DVI. For
legacy support a PS/2 module with onboard
Floppy connection can be selected.
Because of a rear I/O version all front
interfaces (except PS/2 and DVI) are
accessible on the J2 connector .

EIDE controller with Ultra ATA\100 for 4
independent type II drives. Onboard

Microdrive is supported.

Computing performance
Starting from 566MHz the speed can be
raised up to 1.4GHz and the Level 2 cache
size starts for Celeron at 128KB but can be
512KB (like for Pentium 4) using the new
Pentium III-S processors. Up to 512MB
SDRAM realized via SODIMM is accessed
with 133MHz.

- Dual 82559 based 10/100Base-TX Ethernet
- Dual EIDE interfaces, Ultra DMA\100, 100MB/sec
- Dual USB ports, USB1.1 compliant
- UART with two 16C550 compatible RS232 ports
PS/2 is an option, a front panel plus module with a Super IO can be installed
for keyboard and mouse legacy support.
The VGA port is integrated in the 82815 GMCH and supports dual dependent video
displays, providing 2D/3D graphics accelerator, up to 1280x1024x16/75Hz or
1200x1600x256/60Hz analog and digital output.

Hot Swap
