Fondée en 1963, la FMH forme un réseau mondial d’organisations de patients de 127 pays et est officiellement reconnue par l’Organisation mondiale de la Santé. Au clos de sa première campagne pluriannuelle, la FMH a récolté 5,4 millions $US auprès de donateurs corporatifs et communautaires partout dans le monde. The WFH is presently seeking an Annual Giving Manager – MATERNITY replacement, 14 months - reporting to the Development Director, who will be responsible for the overall success of WFH’s Annual giving program and its integration into the WFH’s overall fundraising and revenue generation activities. (AFFICHAGE PROLONGÉ) Type of position: Reports to: Location: Start date: CONTRACTUAL – 14 months; full time Development Director Montreal – downtown OCTOBER 2015 (until November 2016) ______________________________________________________ SUMMARY – The Annual Giving Manager directs and administers all aspects of annual giving and related activities, including: direct mail, and online giving; donor databases; gift processing and accounting; special events; annual giving communications, donor cultivation, acknowledgement, recognition and stewardship; and policy development. As a member of the Fund & Resource Development department, the Manager works to ensure integration and alignment with departmental and organizational activities and initiatives. Principal Responsibilities: Collects and manages all donor and prospect information in the database; supervises all gift entry and reporting to ensure accuracy; Works within annual budget; supports the development of an annual budget for annual giving; Manages direct mail and online giving programs to achieve objectives; interfaces with suppliers and colleagues as needed; Manages the WFH US charitable registration process; Develops marketing materials and opportunities as needed to support annual giving; Drafts articles, news, updates related to the annual campaign for print and other media; Works with WFH volunteers on annual giving initiatives; FMH / WFH - (PROLONGATION) Gestionnaire, Campagne annuelle (remplacement, maternité – 14 mois) Annual Giving Manager (Maternity replacement – 14 months) cont’d … __________________________________________________________________________________ Cont’d … Manages all special event fundraising activities and initiatives related to annual giving, including the annual campaigns, Congress, Global Feast and others; In conjunction with the Development Director and the Membership & Development Coordinator, identifies and develops synergies for enhancements to the WFH Membership Program as well as opportunities for cultivation and solicitation of major gift prospects; Ensures proper prospect cultivation, donor acknowledgement, recognition and stewardship; Prepares weekly, monthly and annual reports on all campaign activity; Acts as liaison with accounting and finance department and other WFH departments as needed to achieve objectives; Develops policies and procedures for annual giving; support departmental policy development; Participates in Fund & Resource Development Committee meetings and others as required. _________________________________________________________________________ QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS – University degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent appropriate qualifications; 6-9 years demonstrated success and track record in planning, implementing, and expanding annual giving programs in non-profit, health related, and/or international organizations, including 2-3 years in a function management or coordinator role; Excellent written English (main language of work) and presentation skills, with working knowledge of French; Spanish and/or other international language - an asset; Demonstrated strength in online, web-based giving programs and social networkingbased fundraising; Specific experience with database implementation / data management (ex., Raiser’s Edge), and with data analysis; Proven success in special event planning and/or project management, coordination; Experience in managing volunteers - an asset; Skilled with PC applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook); Availability for travel – ie., WFH 2016 World Congress, Orlando, FL, July 2016; CFRE or similar professional certification - an asset.
