1.  Voici une liste de monuments que tu peux visiter à Londres. À par-r des informa-ons données, place ces monuments sur la carte en reportant la le@re correspondante. A. Buckingham palace: It is near Hyde Park and in front of Queen Victoria Memorial.
B. Tower bridge: It is situated in the east of London.
C. The Houses of parliament: They are between Westminster Abbey and the River Thames.
D. The national gallery of art: It is near Trafalgar Square.
E. The london eye: It is next to the River Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament.
F. Tower of london: It is not far from Tower Bridge, on the north bank of River Thames.
G. The globe: It is on the south bank of River Thames, not far from Southwark Cathedral.

d)  It is an old castle near the River Thames. King Henry VIII lived there in the sixteenth
century. It was also a prison. People say that it is haunted.
e)  Ministers speak about politics there and you can see the most famous clock in the
world: Big Ben. So the Members of Parliament have no excuse for being late for work…
f)  It is a modern vision of William Shakespeare's theatre. It is called the Globe because of its
circular shape.
g) It is 244 metres long and it opened in 1894. Boats can pass under it.
