We’re going to play bingo. Choisis six numéros entre un et dix. Choose six numbers between one and ten. Si le nombre est en haut ou en bas de ta bande de papier, détache-le! If the number appears at the top and bottom of your strip, tear it off! Instructions for play 1. Revise the numbers you plan to use in the game by counting up and down to 10 or 20 in sequence. Practise the numbers out of sequence too. 2. Give each child a strip of scrap paper. 3. Ask children to write between four and six numbers in French on their strip of paper (in words, not figures – see the sample number strips on p.1 above). How many numbers you ask for will depend on the level of difficulty and how long you have to play the game. The fewer the numbers, the shorter the game. 4. Call numbers out of sequence and make a note of the numbers called. 5. Each time a child has a number at either end of their strip of paper, they tear off that number. 6. The winner is left with no paper at the end. 7. You may want to check the numbers by asking the winning child to call back their numbers to you. © www.teachitprimary.co.uk 2011 16784 Page 2 of 2
