28th March to 05th April 2013
Itinerary
28th March - Europe / Marrakech
Upon arrival in Marrakech, transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
29th March – Marrakech
After breakfast at hotel, visit of the city of Marrakech, including the Museum Dar Si Said, the
Majorelle Museum (optional visit), the Menara Gardens, the Tombs Saadian dinasty, the El
Badii Palace and the Bahia Palace. Lunch at local restaurant, followed by a walk to explore
the animated markets. Free time at leisure during the rest of the afternoon.
Special optional dinner Fantasia at “Chez Ali”, served in tents while you can enjoy different
traditional dances and musics. Return to hotel and overnight.
30th March – Marrakech / El Jadida / Rabat
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to El Jadida to visit the Portuguese Cistern and other
Portuguese monuments, Museum of Ceramics. Lunch on the way.
Arrival in Rabat. Dinner at hotel and overnight.
31st March – Rabat
After the breakfast at hotel, departure to Rabat and visit of the city including: the
Archaeology Museum, the Oudayas’s Kasbah, the Bank Al Maghrib and the roman ruins of
Chellah. Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, meeting with the responsible members of Cultural Patrimony and reception
at the Embassy of Portugal.
Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
01st April – Rabat / Tanger / Algeciras
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Tanger to visit the Kasbah and the Museum.
Lunch and meeting with the responsible members of Cultural Patrimony. Arrival in Algeciras.
Dinner and overnight in hotel.
02nd April – Algeciras / Gibraltar / Seville
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Gibraltar and visit of the rock. Meeting with the Director of
the Museum of Gibraltar.
After lunch, departure to Sevilla and general seeing tour. Flamenco show in the Museum of
Flamenco. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
03rd April – Seville / Evora / Lisboa
Breakfast at hotel. Visit of Sevilla and one (or both, depending on time) of the following
museums: Museum of Fine Arts or Archaeological Museum. Lunch in Seville.
The itinerary continues to Évora (Portugal), where there will be a walk in the historical
center, including the Roman Temple, the Cathedral and the Museum of Évora. Departure to
Lisbon. Arrival to Sana Malhoa 4* hotel. Dinner and overnight.
04th April – Lisboa / Sintra / Cascais / Lisboa
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Queluz to visit the National Palace and continue to Sintra to
visit the National Palace. Visit of Cabo da Roca (the westernmost point of Continental
Europe) and Museum-House of Paula Rego in Cascais. Lunch in local restaurant. Return to
Lisbon, passing by the hotel. Traditional Portuguese dinner with fado show. Return to hotel
and overnight.
5th April – Lisboa / Home country
Breakfast at hotel. Return to home country.

8th April – Lisboa / Home country
Breakfast at hotel. Return to home country.
