Trainee at the Reception
The 3-star Hotel Plevna is located in a quiet residential area in the heart of Sliema. The beach promenade
and the bustling city centre are within walking distance. The charming 100 room hotel offers its guests 24
hour reception, 3 lifts, main restaurant, bar, sunroof terrace, private Beach Club, two lounges, and
conference room for 60 people.
As a trainee you are mainly responsible for the guests. Your tasks include welcoming guests on arrival,
taking care of the check-in and check-out of customers, preparing bills and all transactions, accepting
telephone calls, and entering data on the computer.
The internship should at least last 3 months up to 6 months and you can start working at any time (after
consultation with our staff). Trainees should be older than 18.
The internship is unpaid, but we will provide a free and shared accommodation as well as one free meal
per working day and two additional days off per month.
Position Requirements:




Studies in International Business Management, Tourism Management or similar
Previous experience in tourism
Very good knowledge of English and preferably one or more other foreign languages
Results-oriented, open-minded, flexible, responsible, excellent communication skills, and ready
to learn
