TO THE HONOURABLE
THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL
The undersigned has the honour to report that:

Section 27 of The Provincial Lands Act provides, in part, as follows:
27(1) Subject to this Act and any applicable regulations, the minister may sell provincial lands on any
terms and conditions that:
(a) the minister considers appropriate; and
(b) are not inconsistent with any terms and conditions that are prescribed in the regulations.
2 Section 5 of The Provincial Land Regulations provides, in part, as follows:
5(1) Subject to subsection (3) but notwithstanding any other provision of this Part, the minister may sell
vacant provincial lands that are not required for a public purpose, at a price and on terms determined by
the minister.
(2) Repealed.
(2.1) Subject to subsection (3) but notwithstanding any other provision of this Part, vacant provincial
lands required or taken for roadways, public works, public improvements or other public purposes are to be
sold at a price and on terms determined by the minister.
(3) Sales made under this section shall be subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council
in each case.
3 The land described in the attached Schedule “A” consisting of 10.074 acres, more or less, is vacant provincial
land which, in the opinion of the Minister of Agriculture, is required for public purpose.
4 It is desirable and in the public interest to approve the sale of the provincial land, by the Minister of
Agriculture, described in the attached Schedule “A” to the Village of Broderick to be used for an addition to the
Village’s existing landfill site, for the sume of $856.29.
The undersigned has the honour, therefore, to recommend that Your Honour’s Order do issue pursuant to
section 27 of The Provincial Lands Act and section 5 of Part II of The Provincial Lands Regulations approving
the sale, by the Minister of Agriculture, of the provincial land consisting of 10.074 acres, more or less, described
in the attached Schedule “A”, to the Village of Broderick to be used for an addition to the Village’s existing landfill
site, for the sum of $856.29.

D.O. 2008-3. Pursuant to section 14 of The Fisheries Regulations, being R.R.S. c.F-16.1 Reg 1, made under
the authority of The Fisheries Act (Saskatchewan) 1994, which powers have been delegated to me by the Minister
responsible for that Act, I do hereby vary the Minister’s Designation for Angling Limits, dated April 18, 2002,
as published in the Saskatchewan Gazette, on May 10, 2002 as follows:
(1) Walleye or sauger less than 55 cm in length and greater than 70 cm in length may be retained for
weigh-in purposes by anglers registered in the following licenced competitive fishing events at Tobin Lake
NL 53o35' WL 103o30'on the dates specified below:
(a) The Wildcat Walleye Tournament on July 12 and 13, 2008;
(b) The Tobin Lake Walleye Classic on July 12 and 13, 2008;
(c) The Premier’s Walleye Cup on August 8 and 9, 2008;
(d) The Fish for Freedom Walleye Tournament on August 16, 2008; and
(e) The Vanity Cup on September 27 and 28, 2008.
(2) This variation is in effect from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on the dates specified
above.

PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for submissions to The Saskatchewan Gazette is noon on the Thursday
previous to the week of publication. If a holiday occurs within the week of publication, the deadline
is set back to noon of the previous Wednesday. Please allow yourself at least one full week to ensure
mail delivery of Gazette submissions. Publication of any material received late will be delayed until
the following week’s issue.
All material for publication in The Saskatchewan Gazette must be submitted electronically (WordPerfect
or Word) accompanied by a signed hard copy to the Office of the Queen’sPrinter, Saskatchewan Justice,
B19-3085 Albert St., Regina SK S4S 0B1, tel. (306)787-2367, or by E-mail: [email protected].
Each document or disk must be complete in the form required for publication and must be separate from
the covering letter. Signatures on all documents must be typewritten or clearly printed immediately below
the written signatures.
Prepayment is required for ALL notices placed in The Saskatchewan Gazette by non-government clients.
Cheques or money orders must be made payable to the Queen’s Printer Revolving Fund. Please include the GST
in addition to regular charges at the rate of 5% each for those items listed below under “GST Payable”.
