Michel Puech's academic background is in classical European philosophy.
He gradually specialized his research field towards a critical analysis of modernity.
He has published numerous books and articles on the philosophy of technology, the concept of
the "sustainable", and more broadly on new value systems.
His current work focuses on the notion of wisdom.
His recent books are Homo Sapiens Technologicus (Le Pommier, 2008, new edn 2016),
