The Youth Center is for adolescents 12 to 17 years of age. We offer: Internet, a pool
table, a table soccer, organized activities (trips, canoeing on the river, horseback
riding) and much more. The Youth Center also offers counseling services for youth in

THE GASPESIAN BRITISH HERITAGE VILLAGE
An 82 acre site that dedicated to the history, the culture and the development of the
Bay of Chaleurs. Eighteen buildings dating from 1775 to 1910, including the Military

façon très amusante de s’activer et de développer son équilibre et sa coordination.

Viens skater avec un skateur de 12 ans d’expérience et 3 compétitions à son actif!
L’entraîneur Sévy Bélanger sera au Skate Park Beau bassin de New Richmond, les
jeudis soirs 7, 14, 21, 28, mai et 4 juin 2015 de 16 h à 18 h 30 pour te donner des
trucs, afin d’améliorer tes manœuvres. Activité gratuite! Pour les 10 ans et plus.
Teenagers who enjoy more extreme sports can come to the SKATE PARK situated
next to the arena. Skateboarding is a fun way to develop your balance and
coordination.
SKATE WITH A PROFESSIONAL
Come and practice with a skateboarder who has 12 years experience and who has
participated in 3 competitions! The trainer Sévy Bélanger will be at the Pavages Beau
Bassin Skate Park on the following Thursday evenings: May 7, 14, 21, 28 and June 4,

La bibliothèque met gratuitement à la disposition du public des ordinateurs
donnant accès à Internet haute vitesse et à différents logiciels. L’accès Internet sans
fil est également disponible.
Vente de livres usagés : La grande vente estivale de livres usagés au Marché public
aura lieu le samedi 18 juillet. Par la suite elle se tiendra dans la salle d’animation de
la bibliothèque jusqu’au 29 août. De nombreux livres de toutes catégories, français
et anglais, seront mis en vente à très bas prix. Certains seront même gratuits.
Club de lecture d’été TD 2015 : Le JEU!
Au cours de l’été 2015, nous encourageons les enfants à voir la lecture comme un
jeu, pour leur faire comprendre que les émotions positives associées au jeu peuvent
tout aussi bien émaner de la lecture d’un bon livre. Nous souhaitons que les enfants
s’amusent en lisant et en échangeant, tout en ayant la liberté de choisir, explorer et
découvrir à leur guise. Tu as 12 ans ou moins ? Viens nous voir avec ta famille et tes
amis et inscris-toi! Tu recevras gratuitement une trousse de lecture comprenant une
affiche, des autocollants et un journal de bord. L’inscription débute le 15 juin et se
poursuivra jusqu’à épuisement des trousses.

The library has three computers available to the general public with high-speed
Internet and various software programs. Wi-Fi access is also available.
Sale of used books: The annual summer sale of used books will take place at Taylor’s
Point Park on Saturday July 18, 2015 during the New Richmond Public Market. The
sale will then continue until August 29th in the Animation Room at the library. Many
French and English books of many genres will be on sale at very low prices. Some
will even be free.
The TD Summer Reading Club: «PLAY!»
For the summer of 2015, we’re encouraging kids to see reading as play, and discover
that the joyful, boundless and carefree feelings associated with play can just as easily
be found in a great book. We want kids to have fun reading and share this joy, while
they have the freedom to choose, explore, discover and play, any way they want.
Are you 12 years of age or younger? Bring your family and friends and register! You
will receive a free reading kit that includes a poster, stickers and a logbook.
Registration begins on June 15th and will continue until all the kits have been
distributed.
