Ashleigh Leon is a litigator, with industry expertise in insurance.
Ashleigh received her Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. In 2005
she was awarded the McCarthy Tetrault scholarship.
Prior to law school, Ashleigh worked in the compliance department at Florida International
University and assisted a sole practitioner mainly on contract law issues. Ashleigh was the
president of the student council committee responsible for all volunteer work in the West
Palm Beach community. Throughout law school Ashleigh summered with Miller Thomson.
Before entering law school, Ashleigh attended Northwood University in West Palm Beach,
Florida on a varsity softball scholarship where she completed her Bachelor of Business
Administration degree. At Northwood University, Ashleigh was the recipient of the
Outstanding International Student Award, she graduated magna cum laude, was a four-year
All-Conference athlete, a four-year All-Conference student-athlete and a one-year AllAmerican athlete.
