For the holiday season, Max Laniado Gallery - Visio Dell’Arte presents an exclusive
group show of abstract paintings. The works of highly credited artists, such as Rasikh
Akhmetvaliev, Chhour Kaloon, Cosmina, and Nicolae Ene, will be displayed alongside
those of rising emerging artists, such as Bonus, Jeff Bortniker, Anik Legoupil, Vanessa
Longo and Olivier Valli.
Cosmina was discovered by Max Laniado in 1999 and Chhour in 2009. They have since
risen within the international contemporary art scene. In just a few years, they have
acquired recognition and legitimacy from art experts, press and, above all well
informed and discerning collectors. With a unique and unclassifiable style, Cosmina’s
stunning masterpieces have paved the way for an entirely new movement and her
latest collection “The External Facets of the Inner Self” has been an overwhelming
success. Chhour paintings are the syncretism of Western and Asian cultures. His
compositions with a choreography of vibrant colors reflect his fascination for
impressionism and his Chinese roots. European critics have suggested Chhour to be a
potential successor of Zao Wou-ki and Chu Teh-Chun.
Discovered in 2014, Nicolae Ene has already risen amongst the best sellers of the group.
His unique and intricate creations won over the public.
Also fast rising artists, Bonus, Jeff Bortniker, Anik Legoupil, Vanessa Longo and Olivier Valli
will share the gallery walls. All five share an incredible vision for their ascending path
and will soar to well-deserved glory. Stunning sculptures, directly carved on wood, by
Hélène Modébadzé are also on display.
Max Laniado Gallery – Visio Dell’Arte showcases also some small format paintings.
