0.0 km NEVERS (AHR-APD-C-HR-RP) (shops, services and railway station SCNF): South entrance to the
cathedral. Turn left into the Rue de l'Abbe Boutilier, then right into the Rue de la Cathédrale, descending,
crossing the Place du Palais (old episcopal palace from the XVIIIth century). At the end, turn right into the
Rue de la Loire.
0.3 km arrival at the Place Mossé, on the quay: turn left and cross the bridge over the Loire.
0.7 km after the bridge: continue straight on, via the N7.
0.9 km at traffic lights: straight ahead, direction Moulins, Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier.
1.1 km signs: you leave Nevers and enter into SERMOISE-sur-LOIRE (CH-H) and Challuy.
2.1 km intersection (traffic lights): leave the N7 and turn right into the D149 (Rue Louis Bonnet), direction
Challuy.

28.5 km crossing with the D978a ("Stop"): turn right under the bridge over the D907 and then immediately turn
left, onto the D431, Avenue du 8 mai, direction centre-ville (city center).
29.0 km intersection (cross): Place de la République: cross and then take -left- the Rue de Paris, direction
Moulins, church, then turn right (Rue Nationale).
29.3 km SAINT-PIERRE-le-MOUTIER (APD-C) (shops, services, restaurants, train station SCNF) church.
Before the church: take the Rue François Dumontel (one-way) and continue straight via the Rue du Puizat

[Shortly before the cemetery, the small road on the left towards the locality "Prégoux" is used by the GR 300
which leads to "Le Puy-en-Velay." (The 300 GR starts in "Sancoins", about 18 km north of "Le Veurdre.")]
39.5 km cemetery (“cimetière”) (water tap). Crossroads: turn right (Rue du Champ Rousseau), direction Champ
Rousseau, Moulin Barras.
39.7 km roundabout: straight on (Rue du Champ Rousseau).
39.8 km intersection (double junction): continue straight on, via the Rue de Champ Rousseau, direction
Mésangy.
40.9 km intersection (Le Coudrais: manor from the XVIth century): straight ahead.
41.5 km before the end of the descending road: turn left, onto a grassy path, steeply up, direction Mésangy,
Moulin d'Affouard.
41.6 km curve left, path between hedges.
42.1 km curve right, continue straight on. (After 300m, in the woods to the left, is the hole of the devil (“trou du

the Rue de l'Horloge. Then turn left, into the Rue des Maures to the church. Back through the Rue des
Maures, then turn left, into the Rue du Pont, descending.
