Recently two market leaders associated and now cooperate in a
firm partnership in the field of recycling of used vehicle tyres:
the Zweibrücken-based German PALLMANN Group, one of largest
developing and manufacturing companies of innovative comminution
technologies worldwide, and the Spanish company GMN, a tyre
recycling company that has been successful for years.

Since 2004 the PALLMANN Group has been supplying the most advanced and efficient comminution plants to GMN, the Spanish processing specialist
for vehicle tyres. Together they improved processes
and technologies aiming at the optimization of the
processes, i.e.
• reduction of specific costs
• improving the quality of the finished products
• increase of the throughput.
The plant components are tested at GMN in the
harsh conditions of practical operation and prove
their efficiency and reliability there.The used car and
truck tyres are correctly sorted into the fractions
rubber, steel and textiles.They can profitably be marketed for the immediate further processing in various fields of application. ECOTREC offer worldwide complete plants including all modules for the
recycling of car and truck tyres.They include shredders (the modules LION and TIGER), granulating
machines (module PANTHER), separators (module
Eco-Sep) as well as the entire conveying and control
equipment including the corresponding know-how.
For the time being the focus will be on Europe and
North America.

harten Praxisbetrieb erprobt und beweisen dort ihre
Leistungsfähigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit. Aus gebrauchten Pkw- und Lkw-Reifen werden die Fraktionen
Gummi, Stahl und Textilien sortenrein getrennt. Sie
lassen sich für die sofortige Weiterverarbeitung in
verschiedenen Anwendungen profitabel vermarkten.
ECOTREC bietet weltweit komplette Anlagen mit
allen Modulen für das Recycling von Pkw- und LkwReifen an. Dazu gehören Shredder (Module LION
und TIGER) Granulatoren (Modul PANTHER),
Separatoren (Modul Eco-Sep) und die gesamte
Förder- sowie Steuerungstechnik inklusive entsprechendem Know-how. Schwerpunkte werden zunächst Europa und Nordamerika sein.
High-quality recycling improves market chances
So far used tyres, which are not directly retreaded,
typically have been coarsely comminuted and then
used as fuel in the industry, for example in cement
factories. However, the margins obtained have not
been attractive. Using ECOTREC systems, valuable
secondary raw materials are obtained due an exact
separation. They can be sold at interesting prices.

grob zerkleinert und anschließend in der Industrie als
Brennstoff verwendet, beispielsweise in Zementwerken. Die damit erzielten Margen sind jedoch nicht
attraktiv. Mit ECOTREC-Systemen entstehen
dagegen durch die saubere Trennung wertvolle
Sekundärrohstoffe, die zu interessanten Preisen verkauft werden können. Für den reinen Stahl, der erzeugt wird, gibt es
einen breiten Markt.

wirtschaftlich und technisch hochinteressante Vertriebsmöglichkeiten.
„Modernste Technologie, entstanden in der
Entwicklungspartnerschaft zwischen PALLMANN
und GMN, eröffnet neue Marktchancen," sagt
Carlos Gomez, Leiter der Niederlassung in Spanien
und verweist darauf, dass mit den steigenden
Rohstoffpreisen auf den Weltmärkten das Recycling
noch wirtschaftlicher wird, als es schon heute ist.

said Carlos Gomez, manager of the agency in Spain,
and pointed out that recycling will become even
more economic than it is already today due to the
increasing raw material prices on the world markets.
