SYSTEM RIMA SYSTEM Newspaper stacking and palletizing behind DGM press The RS 36S stackers are equipped with special non-marking belts and a special gapper construction to avoid smearing of the coldset products. From the F th upper bi bin, iindexing d i fforks k ttransportt the wide and flimsy products safely to the turntable. Equipped with a servo-turntable and a servo-pusher the stacker can handle fast press speeds and low stack heights equally well. well RIMA Newspaper stacking and palletizing behind DGM press The loose bundles can optionally get a single strap before going to the palletizing robot. SYSTEM RIMA Newspaper stacking and palletizing behind DGM press Both stacking lines run into a single robot cell which then palletizes from two pick-up stations onto the pallets. Equipped with multi-pickup multi pickup stations for A3 and A4 the robot can receive stacks in all formats with the spine to the side – the safest way to transport bundles. No turning of the bundle is necessary. SYSTEM RIMA Newspaper stacking and palletizing behind DGM press The printers set up the palletizing jobs using PALETTI, the operator interface of the palletizing robot. In addition PALETTI displays all the necessary information about product format, pallet setup and state of current job in realtime. It also collects and evaluates all error messages to help improve the production process. SYSTEM RIMA Newspaper stacking and palletizing behind DGM press Total view of the robot cell with automatic pallet conveying system and pallet dispenser. A major challenge was to place the complete equipment into the limited space available and leave the existing corridor for transport free. free SYSTEM RIMA RIMA SYSTEM rima-system.com SYSTEM
