gamescom award 2016 is entering the final phase:
The nominees have now been selected!
The decision has been taken: The jury comprising of representatives of German
and international media companies and gaming communities have selected the
nominees. Prior to this over 200 entries had been submitted to the gamescom
award office. More than 40 new products have ultimately qualified for the final
round of the gamescom award 2016. This year, winners will be distinguished in a
total of 24 categories. The exhibitors and visitors of gamescom (17 to 21 August
2016) are now eagerly waiting to see, who will be able to take the coveted
trophy home with them after the festive award ceremony on the social media
stage (Hall 10.1) on Friday, 19 August, 6:00 p.m. Only a game that has also won a
category can claim the "best of gamescom award". The gamescom ‘Most Wanted’
consumer award will also be conferred. With immediate effect and up until
Friday, 19 August 2016, 3:00 p.m. fans and visitors of gamescom can vote for
their favourites via the official gamescom app
