L’atelier couture de l’association « Anima Canarese » les a confectionnés à la main. Il a suivi avec précision les indications contenues dans l’ouvrage du professeur Pecqueux-Barboni, grand spécialiste du costume corse traditionnel. Ces costumes, particulièrement variés et colorés, sont présentés dans le cadre du couvent Saint-François de Canari. Dans le même lieu l’association la Kanelate a constitué un fonds de photographies anciennes auquel ont participé 120 familles. Les photographies sont classées par thèmes. Le musée vous présente les perspectives d’avenir du cédrat dans cette partie du Cap Corse. Le musée nous dit également tout du fruit du cédratier, arbre de la famille des rutacées. Ce citron géant, ovale et verruqueux, peut mesurer jusqu’à 25 cm de long et peser 4 kg ! Sa peau est très épaisse. Sa chair verte ou jaunâtre est acide et peu juteuse. Elle n’est vraiment mangeable que cuite. Le cédrat est surtout vendu confit, en confiture, et utilisé en pâtisserie.
