Senior Expert Operations Research (w/m)
Ihre Aufgaben
• Entwicklung und Nutzung von Simulationsmodellen,
Algorithmen und Verfahren zur Effizienzsteigerung
• Entwicklung von Tools und Verfahren für operative und
taktische Planung und Steuerung des Geschäftsbetriebs
• Weiterentwicklung von Kennzahlensystemen und
Datenmodellen
• Entwicklung von Prognosemodellen zur Optimierung der
Ressourcenallokation und des effizienten Ressourceneinsatzes
• Weitere Optimierung der Angebots-, Logistik- und
Fulfillmentstrukturen (Produktionsstrukturen)
• Kapazitätsoptimale Gestaltung und Nutzung der bestehenden
Unternehmensinfrastruktur
Ihre Qualifikationen
• Studium der Mathematik, Informatik, Ingenieurswesen oder
Wirtschaftswissenschaften mit Schwerpunkten in
quantitativen Methoden
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Anwendung von Operations
Research, insb. beim Erstellen von Modellen und Algorithmen
für Pricing, Bidding, Distribution oder Beschaffung
• Exzellente Kenntnisse in der Formulierung von diskreten und
kontinuierlichen Optimierungsmodellen
• Erfahrung in der Anwendung quantitativer Analysemethoden
zur Lösung betriebswirtschaftlicher Fragestellungen
• Vertiefte Erfahrung mit Optimierungsprogrammen wie GAMS,
GUROBI, CPLEX oder XPRESS
• Grundlegende Kenntnisse im Software Engineering
• Sehr gute Englisch- und gute Deutschkenntnisse

Your Tasks
• Development and application of simulation models,
algorithms and methods to increase efficiency
• Development of tools and procedures for operational and
tactical planning and control of operations
• Development of performance measurement systems and
data models
• Development of predictive models to optimize the
allocation and efficiency of resources used
• Redesign and optimization of the supply chain for future
growth
• Optimal allocation of existing supply chain resources
Your qualifications
• Master in mathematics, computer science, engineering or
economics with a focus on quantitative methods
• Several years of experience in operations research, in
particular in creating models and algorithms for pricing,
bidding, distribution or procurement
• Excellent knowledge in formulating discrete and
continuous optimization models
• Experience in applying quantitative methods to analyse
business problems
• Experience in applying optimization software like GAMS,
GUROBI, CPLEX or XPRESS
• Basic knowledge in software engineering
• Very good English and good knowledge of German
