Piazza San Marco fu per molti secoli il centro delle
principali attività dello Stato. La visita alle maestose
sale del Palazzo Ducale dove un tempo erano
insediate le diverse magistrature della Serenissima sarà
un viaggio all'interno di una efficiente e affascinante
macchina politica. Potrete ammirare i grandi dipinti
volti a celebrare il Mito di Venezia, le sue conquiste e i
successi diplomatici. Rivivrete fasti e cerimonie di una
delle più prestigiose capitali europee.
La Basilica di San Marco, oggi cattedrale della città,
era allora la Cappella Ducale e, pertanto, lo specchio
della magnificenza dello Stato. Vi stupiranno l'oro dei
suoi mosaici e i preziosi marmi, la Pala d'Oro e i celebri
Cavalli, opere d'arte che trasformarono la chiesa in uno
dei monumenti più belli al mondo. Successivamente la
guida illustrerà agli ospiti il luogo e l’ora di ritrovo per il
rientro. Il pranzo e il pomeriggio sono liberi e da
organizzare autonomamente.
Il rientro a Punta Sabbioni è previsto per le 17.30.
N.B. Nel prezzo dell’escursione non è compreso il
transfer da Union Lido a Punta Sabbioni e
viceversa.

Von 11.00 Uhr bis 13.00 Uhr Stadtführung in deutscher
Sprache im Herzen Venedigs. Der Markusplatz war über viele
Jahrzehnte Zentrum der Hauptaktivitäten des Staates. Der
Besuch der majestätischen Säle des Dogenpalastes, wo einst
die Richterschaften der Serenissima ihren Sitz hatten, ist eine
Reise ins Innern eines effizienten und faszinierenden
Politikapparates. Sie können die großen Gemälde bewundern,
die den Mythos von Venedig, die Eroberungen und
diplomatischen Erfolge widerspiegeln. Hier können Sie den
Prunk und die Feierlichkeiten einer der renommiertesten,
europäischen Städte nachempfinden. dann eine Spazierfahrt
um die Lagune und nach ca. 30 Minuten legt es in Riva degli
Schiavoni, in der Nähe von Markusplatz an. Die
Markusbasilika, heute Kathedrale der Stadt, war damals die
Kapelle der Dogen und ist daher das Spiegelbild der Pracht des
Staates. Das Gold ihrer Mosaikarbeiten und das wertvolle
Marmor werden Sie zum Staunen bringen, genauso wie das
goldene Altarbild und die bekannten Pferde, Kunstwerke, die
die Kirche zu eines der schönsten Monumente der Welt
gemacht haben. Danach wird die Stadtführerin den
Teilnehmern
den Ort und die Uhrzeit für die Rückfahrt
erläutern.
Das Mittagessen und der Aufenthalt am Nachmittag steht zur
freien Verfügung und muss individuell organisiert werden.
Ankunft in Punta Sabbioni ist für ca. 17:30 Uhr vorgesehen.

For centuries St. Marks Square was the center for all
principal activities of the state. The visit to the majestic
halls of the Doge Palace, where once the various
judiciaries of the Serenissima were located, will be a
journey inside an efficient and fascinating political
machine. You will be able to admire the great paintings,
which describe the myth of Venice, it’s conquests and
diplomatic successes. Relive the glory and ceremonies
of one of the most prestigious European capitals.
The Basilica of St. Mark, which today is the cathedral
of the city, was once the Doge Chapel, and is therefore
the reflection of the magnificence of the state. You will
be amazed of the gold of its mosaic and precious
marble, the Pala D’oro and the famous Horses, artworks
that transformed the church in one of the most
beautiful monuments in the world. Thereafter the guide
will inform the guests of the meeting place and meeting
time for the return. The lunch and the afternoon are of
free time and have to be organized individually.
The return to Punta Sabbioni is estimated at 5.30pm.
