Es ist soweit, das feurig rockende Ohrwurm-Werk
„Tiefer“ von Mina Harker entert die Szenerie. Im
Vorfeld konnte das Duo bereits wahre Lobeshymnen in der Presse absahnen. „Es ist wirklich sehr
spannend, wenn man sein Werk nach langer Arbeit
endlich in die Welt hinauslässt. Dass die Presse auf
unser Album so gut reagiert, freut uns riesig.“
Eine weitere spannende Sache ist zudem der neue
Videoclip zum Titelsong. „Den Videoclip zu ‚Tiefer‘
haben wir in den Beelitzer Heilstätten gedreht, das
ist ein alter Krankenhauskomplex von 1898, in der
Nähe von Potsdam. Wir haben in der Chirurgie gedreht, und wie man schon im Video sieht, ist es ein
sehr düsterer Ort. Wir fanden die Stimmung des
Songs sehr passend zur Location. Wir haben das
Video an einem Tag abgedreht, und es war schon
sehr spannend, weil es an dem Ort unheimlich viel
zu entdecken gibt. Er saugt dich auf und lässt dich
nicht los - selbst nach Drehschluss haben wir noch
einige Zeit gebraucht, um uns von den Eindrücken
und der Atmosphäre dort zu erholen.“
Die Band hat unlängst sowohl eben jenen sehr gelungenen Videoclip wie auch das Stück „Bis zum
Tod“, ein Duett mit Oomph!-Frontmann Dero, auf
ihre MySpace-Seite gestellt. Mit sehr guten Reaktionen, wie Mina erzählt: „Die Reaktionen auf das
Video sind bislang sehr positiv, das freut uns natürlich sehr, dass sich viele Hörer durch den Song
und den Clip angesprochen fühlen. Die Reaktionen
auf das Duett mit Dero sind bis jetzt ebenfalls sehr
gut, wir bekommen viele tolle Kommentare von
unseren Myspace-Freunden zu dem Song.“
Apropos Oomph!, die Tour mit eben jenen steht
kurz bevor, wie fühlt man sich im Hause Mina
Harker?„Wir sind schon sehr gespannt auf das Publikum!“, gibt Mina zu Protokoll. „In erster Linie
freuen wir uns und sind auch etwas aufgeregt,
es ist allerdings diese angenehme Aufgeregtheit,
welche die ganze Sache immer wieder spannend
macht. Wir hoffen, einfach mit allen eine gute Zeit
auf Tour zu haben und vor allem viel Spaß auf der
Bühne.“
It is time for Mina Harker‘s catchy rockin‘ epos
„Tiefer“ to enter the scene. The band received
loads of advance praise from the press for the
album. „It is a really exciting moment when the
fruits of your labor are finally unleashed unto the
world. Of course, we are really happy that the
press has been receiving our album so well.“
Another thing that really excites the band is the
video clip they filmed for the title track. „We filmed the clip in the old sanatorium in Beelitz, a
deserted hospital complex near Potsdam. We filmed in the department for surgery and it was a
pretty gloomy place. We thought the place really
fitting for the mood of the song. The clip was
filmed in one day and it was really impressive
because the place has
got so many things to
discover. It sucks you
in and won‘t let you
go - we really needed
some time to recover
afterwards.“
Another
adventure
was
recording
the
duet „Bis zum Tod“
with Oomph!-vocalist
Dero, which the band
has also uploaded to
its Myspace page, next
to the very impressive
clip. The band received very good reactions on both endeavours:
„we are very happy that so many people like the
clip and the song. We have also got a lot of positive reactions on the duet with Dero from the
fans and seem to have struck a note, there.“
Oh yes, Oomph! - Mina Harker are going to embark on a big tour with their colleagues shortly.
How does it feel? „We are very interested in how
their core audience will react to our music,“ says
Mina. „We are looking forward to the tour and we
are a bit nervous, of course, but it is a positive
kind of nervousness that makes the whole thing
all the more fun. We hope to have a good time
with the guys and with the audience on stage.“
