TIM BROTHERTON
BROTHERTON
BIOGRAPHY
Tim Brotherton (born 1966) studied film and photography in Derby and Bournemouth. He exhibited in
solo shows with Katrin Lock at Brandenburgischer Kunstverein (Berlin) Ozone Gallery
(Belgrade) and Bag Factory (Johannesburg). He won the first prize in a photography
competition set by Architectural Association and the London Consortium.
His photography work has been repeatedly published in Elle Decoration UK, Elle
Decoration China, Themepark, The Independent, Blueprint and The Telegraph, Special Ten,
Graphic Magazine and the Time Magazine. Commissioned work includes clients such as
Hayward Gallery, Whitney Museum, Featherstone Architects, Adam Richards Architects
and the Architectural Association.
He also directed music videos for EMI ‘Furious Angels’ artist: Rob Dougan; EPK for Bluenote
Records artist: Angela Mccluskey; Promotional video for Adam Richards Architects and
Promotional video for Charles Worthington.
